"The reason I’m giving them one star is because they made me and my fiancé feel very unwelcome when we came. This is not a black or white or Latino thing. This was just the worst experience and he brought me to this place. We were unclear about making reservations even though they told us it would be a 45 minute wait we were fine with that however when the young lady at the front Told us that it would be a wait because by reservations, she want to speak to the manager and the expression on the managers face as she looked at us like what are you Black people doing here? We don’t want you here. This is the expression that this woman gave us that was really really really uncomfortable and you know we never got a chance to go there we heard great things about this place but clearly they don’t want people of color to come there . The crazy thing about it is we really are foodies and we really go around from restaurant to restaurant grading restaurants and you know sharing experience with the people over on our platforms. This was the this was disgusting and I would not care to bring my family there. All I know is at the end of the day money is money. It doesn’t matter the color of first impression means everything energy is very loud so we would never go there and spend our money. Neither will anyone in our family. Neither will I support this place I don’t care that is the town over from me. Neither will I talk about this place on any of the platforms that I go on and we do many of that whether it’s owned by Caucasian , Puerto Rican Mexican white green blue or purple food is food. People are people so I give them one star and I had to give my opinion on this. That was a disgusting experience and again it’s not a black or white thing but clearly they made it one thanks a lot. I hope your business does great and I truly mean that , but our money will never touch your money."

"I had the worst experience tonight at this establishment. I ordered the brussels sprouts for $18, and and it was a bowl full of browned/burnt leaves there was not a single full head in the entire bowl. The entire contents of the bowl weighed as much as a feather. I figured it was a kitchen error, no big deal. Politely, I called over the gentleman from whom I placed the order (heavier set man, late fifties/early sixties), and I explained the situation to him, and said I 'd be happy to try again, or just order the Cobb Salad if they are 86 'd on brussels sprouts. He snapped at me. He said, what do you want me to do? .....I explained the situation to him a second time.... and again stated my request to swap the mishap for a Cobb salad instead. He interrupted me and said, this is our brussels sprouts. This is how we do it here, to which I meekly replied... but there is no food in the bowl. He cut me off again and replied, Sorry, you 're not getting a refund, or another meal. JUST LIKE THAT. While scowling at me. The two women I was dining with were slack jawed. He was so hostile. And so unusual. He seemed so miserable and was strangely taking it out on me. I have never been treated so poorly in any restaurant. I would like to speak to the owner (assuming it 's not this man) and I will be calling tomorrow to find him/her. I demand a refund. I had to leave my evening with girlfriends early to make secondary dinner arrangements for myself since I didn 't get any food to eat at Boar Dough. Until then, I 'll be speaking to everyone I know (which is a LOT of people in the Calabasas/Agoura/WLV/TO area) warning them to never give their business to Boar Dough."

"My wife and I met my old college room mate, who just so happens to have worked for Bravo! for many years, for lunch, and WOW!!! We were amazed. The service was great. They treated us like WE had been working there for years! The decor was modern and aesthetically pleasing. And the food. Man, oh man, the food. We started out having the white bean hummus with roasted red peppers and grilled portobello mushroom with balsamic reduction and crostini for our appetizer. So good. The white bean hummus was creamy and delicious, while the grilled portobello mushroom added bite and earthiness. Mixed with the sweetness of the roasted red bells and balsamic reduction, our meal started off with a BANG! of flavor. I ordered the Vegano pizza for my entree. And I do not say this lightly: it was the BEST vegan food I’ve ever had since going vegan in 2016. Absolutely delicious. It was prepared perfectly. The basil pesto was light and fresh. The ratatouille was as unique a topping as I’ve ever seen on a pizza. The sun dried tomatoes were juicy and bursting with flavor. The pine nuts added a creaminess rivaled only by the amazing cashew Parmesan. The asparagus tips lended a lightness to the pizza that complimented the other more complex toppings. The g/f crust was thin and cooked perfectly in the beautiful wood burning oven which is visible from the dining room and awesome to see. The crust held up under the weight of the toppings which is definitely a plus. This pizza was worth every red cent of the $17.00 it cost. I ended my meal with the chocolate vegan cake that sat on fresh stripes of raspberry coulis, and next to two dollops of airy, lightly sweetened coconut whipped cream. The cake was moist and satisfied my sweet tooth without causing an unneeded trip to the dentist. I can’t wait to travel back to Jackson so we can eat at Bravo! Italian Restaurant and Bar, again. Most definitely 10/10 and we will 100% be back."
