"We’ve been walking by Los Mariachis for years and finally got a chance to stop in. Hands down the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Super authentic and a great menu. We got tacos, chicken and steak both excellent. LA style tacos. No flourtortillas here. Also got chicken milanesa platter. Comes with rice and beans. the quesadilla was not why I expected. It wasfried and amazing. The waitstaff was so great. Definitely will be back soon. I’ve been so curious about this spot. What anamazing restaurant on CIA."

"As a avid fan of Cibao for many years I am extremely upset as to how the menu has changed. I have ordered over six varied items over the past 3 weeks and they ALL tasted the same! Beyond bland is basically the only thought I have to offer. I was a major fan of the grilled chicken over a house salad. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, with avocado on top. The dressing was delicious and flavorful. I ordered this 2 weeks ago. It had lettuce, tomato, red+ green peppers, No avocado. It had tons of kale or cilantro and the dressing tasted like it was watered down. Today I had the grilled chicken plate and there was lettuce and tomato in the dish, NO dressing nor flavor. I also ordered a chicken plate that was supposed to be a stir fried chicken with flavor. With the exception of heavy cilantro it tasted the exact same as mine. There seems to be NO seasoning in any of the dishes. The New owners SHOULD have sat down with the previous chef and staff listening exactly to their menu and NOT have gone and changed anything. I feel bad as I am sure many other repeat customers will feel the same way. Food: 1"

"My family and I have been eating at Don Garcia’s ever since I was a kid and has always just been one of the most amazing and most friendly person I’ve ever met in my entire life. He always makes sure to provide amazing service with a smile and make sure what he’s putting out in front of you is the absolute 100% that they can give! "Literally the worse tacos I've ever had in my life...and that is saying A LOT! I had carnitas. Carnitas are meant to be flavorful, tender, pulled pork. I had dry, flavorless, cubes of fat with 1/4 of chopped onions. I examined the cubes, and 60-70% was nothing but PURE FAT, not even a sign of actual meat. The guac was 65% onion, the green salsa was devoid of flavor and was a bright green color which was alarming. Atmosphere was cold and barren and rather dirty to be honest. I've been eating Mexican food for 50 years, being born in San Diego and raised in LA...but even compared to the Mexican offerings in Ireland and London where I lived for 15 years, this ranks BELOW. "This restaurant is very unpleasant. They only had one server, which resulted in a long wait to place an order. They charge for every little thing, unlike most Mexican restaurants that provide free chips and salsa. Here, a small bowl of salsa costs $1, which isn't even enough to go with the paid-for nacho chips. They even brought us food we didn't order and then charged us for it. "this was a lively and popular student eating place for students and native of the baylor university. beautiful portion sizes and freshly made portions. I noticed a lot of cheerful tables and nice dinner talks. search for the authentic Chinese dish menu not only the typical hot lamps dishes when ordering them. the menu is above the cash register. they might miss it if they are in a hurry and only order the usual suspects."

"I'm so disappointed.. this was a place I've gone too and order fro for years i will bring my children who now are in their 20s but lately it has been a hit or miss and for the last few orders it has been a miss..smh. Today I oder 5 different orders and the food was tasteless n salty. The taste of beans was watery n salty no cilantro in the beans at all.. has the chef changed or there just catering the those who don't know what spanish food is suppose to taste like or cilantro haters like im confused whats going on the only spot in the neighborhood and its change ... its a shame ? I don't even want to complain. About how they usually would get the order wrong and forget the sodas at times but the food used to be great and you wasn't upset drink your water n you be alright but I'm so furious now .....Time to look for another Spanish spot."

"Let me start by saying that I have been looking for a place that reminds me and taste like the best Thai I have ever had. That was in SKorea and the chefs were authentic transplants from a specific region in Thailand. Well let me tell you, this place is just amazing. It came very close the that food I had in SKorea. When I took my first bite, memories came in like a flood “Ratatouille” style. The drunken noodles variant from here is very well prepared and delicious. Will definitely eat here again. Give it a try, you will love it."

"Went one night had an amazing experience and great time n food. Went then 2 nights later and the same staff same time.of night. Same No one inside eating . Ordered the same thing got something totally different even though it was the same thing ordered. Hmmm? I'm loved it the first night. I said maybe give it another try. I loved the spring rolls the first night so maybe get some of those. And so the 3rd time going ... it still was spring rolls ordered the same way and not the same anything came of it ... ? stay consistent please. "the quality has been consistent for the past year. I read with great difficulty those who give these folks 1 to 2 stars. They all admit that they have eaten from here numerous times, but then they got ?disappointed.? ??? Mind boggling. People are justridiculous lol Anyway, here is my full 5 stars because these guys do a great job at producing what is gourmet tacos. I havetried over half their stuff. Fantastic. The tortillas never disappoint. And the sauces are on point. The fillings,flavorful. The lines are always there, evidence that great tacos are made here. I look forward to having their tacos."

"Every time I visit this restaurant, I stick to the roast pork with red beans and orange rice. I've sampled a few other dishes, but none compare to the roast pork, which is incredibly juicy and tender. The owner, a larger gentleman who is always present, has never greeted me with a smile, but the servers are usually quite friendly. In terms of the food options available in the neighborhood, this place is a staple for me. By the way, I'm fairly certain the cuisine is Dominican rather than Spanish."

"One star is being generous. Don’t know how this place is still open with it’s over priced cold dry chicken. They tried to charge me $16 for a piece of grilled chicken breast. The customer service. Basura. They all have this attitude like somehow you’ve inconvenienced them by existing. Never going back. You shouldn’t bother going at all. Spare yourself the disappointment and don’t waste your money."
