"This restaurant review is another great reason to explore the West Virginia region. The Cajun Chicken Sandwich at White Palace is made with boneless chicken breast seasoned with Cajun spices, avocado, salad, tomatoes, onions, and Tabasco vinaigrette. After visiting a nearby distillery and taking a tour, we decided to have a late lunch at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious menu items that were far from the typical southern fare we expected in this area. The spicy Tabasco-coated chicken on homemade bread was a flavorful delight for me, although it may not be for everyone. The vegetable toppings on the side also added to the experience, with their light vinegary dressing enhancing the mix of avocado, salad, tomatoes, and onions. As a Virginia resident who works in Bethesda, I have had the opportunity to try a variety of menus from different restaurants and kitchens. The lunch at White Palace was just as satisfying as any other meal I have had in the past 14 years, including those in Virginia, Maryland, and Texas. The cocktails were well-made and brought back memories of past times and favorite places. Jose and his family, keep up the good work!"
