"We arrived a couple of hours after opening and encountered a line of eager diners waiting to get in. After some deliberation about whether to join the queue, we ultimately decided to stick it out after hearing so many people leaving the restaurant excitedly proclaiming, "It's worth the wait!" We slowly made our way to the entrance over a span of about 45 minutes, and once invited in, we were seated promptly.
The dining area was spacious and lively, definitely appearing larger inside than it does from the outside. I must commend the staff; they have the table waiting, bussing, and clearing down to perfection! Once seated, my dining buddy and I dove into the four buffet islands, which offered a delightful array of seafood: crabs (so many crabs), shrimp, clams, crawdads, mussels, fish, and more crabs. If seafood isn't your thing—or if you have allergies—there are also soups, fried and baked chicken, and barbecue spare ribs available.
The ambiance and food were excellent, and the staff was welcoming. If it weren't for the long drive, the wait, and the $32-per-person price tag, I would probably visit more frequently. Nevertheless, I will definitely be returning to this gem!"
