"hannover has not many good non-casual vegan options, but pine is by far the best of them. this cozy, elegant restaurant is part of the hannover and serves a seasonal changing menu directed by internationally inspired. in the rule, none of the elements on their menu are explicitly vegan, but the waiters are familiar with vegan and elements on the menu can always be customized. However, to have a really nice meal here, the secret is to book in advance – personally or via the phone preferably – and clearly indicate that x number of people in their party are vegan. why this? Now, Pine’s cook is vegan and he will prepare a delicious and especially handmade meal for them that will be ready to inspire them when they arrive. this is only the case if they book at least 24 hours in advance, hopefully more and every day, but Friday (if the cook does not in). they can even ask to get starter, escape and dessert, or just escape, or even eat. I have spided a series of times now under this system and I was very pleasantly surprised each time. I have an amazing toasted flower cabbage with cherry roasted, a delicious fluffy vegan quiche, a fresh and tasteful summer ratatouille, an amazing artichoke rosmarin dip, a beautiful pizza with edible flowers, black bean cake with sweet potato puree, a farro and veggie a lot more. I have never received the same dish twice, and I have always satisfied and delighted with my meal. I highly recommend pine if they gourmet on looking for something and unique vegan food in the opposite – it is especially nice to celebrate a birthday or other such occasion (please ask the waitress for a specially prepared dessert in this case too."
