"I visited this restaurant again after several months and ordered my usual: a grilled shrimp salad. Unfortunately, I noticed that the quality of the food has declined over the years compared to when they first opened. The reason for my long absence was primarily due to issues with their drinks. My entire group ordered top-shelf alcohol for our cocktails, but after tasting them, we realized we didn’t receive what we had ordered. I ended up feeling extremely ill and couldn’t even leave the parking lot before getting sick, and another guest had a similar experience. If you’ve ever made cocktails with cheaper versus higher-quality alcohol, you know how noticeable the difference in taste is and how quickly it can lead to intoxication. Overall, the food is decent for a small town, but I can't overlook the drink situation."

"We enjoyed our steaks and the cocktails were good. I know this is weird thing to like at steakhouse, but the Sliced Wedge Salad was delicious! Our server was very friendly and attentive. There seemed to some uncertainty over what contained gluten, which is a little unnerving when you have Celiac, but it all worked out! Great atmosphere and location. Dietary restrictions: There were definitely options for those with Celiac, but our server didn't seem 100% clear on those. I'm not sure if it was uncertainty or wanting to double check with the kitchen."

"It was a lovely evening as we sat on the terrace at the restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly, but the food was just average. The fish dish was well-cooked but had a heavy shell. The hummus appetizer was delicious, but the shrimp cocktail seemed overpriced at $3.75 per piece, despite its beautiful presentation. My seafood sampler was swimming in oil, and the portions of shrimp were small. The lobster was clearly an imitation and had a strange consistency resembling pasta noodles. When I questioned the authenticity of the lobster, the staff insisted it was prepared as intended, leaving me unsure if it was real or not. Overall, the dining experience was not terrible, but it fell short of expectations."

"It’s October and you know what that means….. OKTOBERFEST!!This German girl loves her German food and takes full advantage this time of year! I saw an ad in the Bronx Times for P.J Bradys with a special Oktoberfest menu that had me salivating and I had to go! This place is a neighborhood restaurant and bar established in 1998 and is a local favorite. Their windows are all painted for fall with a colorful autumn theme and you hear the laughter and singing from the street! The atmosphere was very cool with a fun group at the bar singing all my favorite songs from Mama Mia and the 70’s-80’s. Our server Katherine was great and took very good care of us from beginning to end with accommodating special requests and suggestions. I like my Oktoberfest beer this time of year and they had a great one by Shipyard called Pumpkin head, they kindly rimmed a glass with honey and cinnamon and I was happy. We started out ordering their popular chicken wings with Blue cheese and ranch dip which were very good! My Oktoberfest special of Jager schnitzel came with red cabbage and Spätzle but I traded the Spätzle for the potato pancakes with apple sauce which was no problem. It also came with a home style chicken and veggie soup that was like moms with tons of chunks of chicken and savory soup. My german cuisine was a huge platter of food that was excellent! It brought me back to my childhood! We also ordered a roast beef with cheese on a roll which was so good with just right crispy French fries! I was going to order their pumpkin cheesecake but they were out due to its popularity, so I will have to go back again! ? Stop in this month to enjoy a full Oktoberfest menu including pot roast, Hungarian beef goulash, Wienerschnitzel, Jager schnitzel, bratwurst and more! "Worth it. We had a cup of Louisiana seafood gumbo, gator bites and a half pound burger. Everything was fresh and delicious! Gator bites were juicy, gumbo was filled with seafood! Real Cajun gumbo!!! Burger was well prepared, juicy with cibatta bun. Will be back for sure!"

"We used to frequent this restaurant from 2000-2010 and had a great experience. However, recently it has become more of a good bar than a restaurant. We have had several unsatisfactory experiences both before COVID and more recently. There have been instances where our entrees have come out much later than the rest of the dishes, ribs that were completely dried out, and other issues. The management always offers to fix the problem, but it is frustrating that the servers will still serve obviously poorly prepared dishes. It is not terrible, but the inconsistency is disappointing."

"We were in Pensacola for the week and decided we needed to make a day trip to Mobile. I rarely get cajun/creole at home, given that I currently live in a landlocked state, so I was excited to try Bourdeaux's! This is an instance where I wish Yelp offered half stars, as this is a solid 4.5 for me. We ordered a smattering of apps (fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, loaded fries, and the blackened gator . All were good and Mr. Picky Pants LOVED the gator! (Can you believe that??? like L O V E D it!! It was delicious!! I was torn between the crawfish etouffee and the shrimp and grits (an all time fave of mine so, yeah, I ordered both!! The etouffee was amazingly well done! I really enjoyed that it had both stewed and fried crawfish. The shrimp and grits is the reason that Bourdeaux's did not receive 5 starts from me. Though the plate was beautiful, the remoulade really just tasted like creamy tabasco sauce and other than the kick, didn't have a tone of flavor. The grits were grit cakes (I'm accustomed to these being creamy for this dish though the shrimp was cooked perfectly! Our whole party enjoyed their meal MPP ordered the voodoo pasta, hubs had a steak and MPP's GF had the fried seafood platter. All were good! We ordered the beignets, banana bread bread pudding, as well as the key lime pie (with four forks . Also great!! BIG dessert servings, definitely meant to share! (and let me also say, that I don't really care for key lime pie. I would never order this on my own accord but this was hands down THE BEST key lime pie I've ever tasted!!!THIS I would order again without hesitation!! 8 thumbs up and 4 food babies later... definitely would recommend!!"

"Our service was terrible. I think there was one waiter for the entire restaurant. We all sat down at and didn’t leave until because that’s how long it took to finish our meal since things came out so slowly. We asked for a Diet Coke, and it came minutes later. It took minutes just to get our plates cleared once we were done. I wish I was exaggerating. Once we did get our food, it was excellent. But it was my mothers birthday and we had my year old at the table. There is no reason the meal should have taken hours and minutes."

"My husband and I have been loyal customers at this restaurant for years and have always had a great experience—until tonight. The service was slow, some of the items we requested didn’t arrive, and when we finally received our food, it was both burnt and cold. This is unusual for this place, and I was quite taken aback! However, the manager and our server were very apologetic and kind. They offered to replace our meals (which we declined), covered our bill, and even gave us coupons for our next visit. "Have eaten there many times. Made reservations and we were placed in a room overlooking the pool. Waited 10 minutes with no service. Finally, I walk into main area and ask for a server. Wait another 10 minutes, female server shows up and states, we are having shift change not sure I will be your server, can I get you drinks and your order. We place order and drinks , we received food order and No drinks, so we tell the food server and he brings us the drinks. Female server never apologized for not bringing us drinks or the poor service."

"You get what you go for at Raceway. This is not a pretentious place. There are no airs about it. It is a divey type of bar and eatery to go to. And you will intermingle with the locals. It is clean, comfortable, and can handle a large party. Nice bar at the left and tables further to the right as you face the bar front. Some outside seating to utilize if i would ever cool down. Lots of memorabilia up on the walls and ceiling along with numerous license plates. Something to look at while drinking your beer or having some bourbon on the rocks. Good selection of bourbons too. The wait staff is friendly and competent. Some are young and appear to be learning the ropes which they will learn over time. In any case the service is good. We had no complaints about the staff. Burgers are good. Enough fries or onion rings with the meal. Appetizers are good tool. I like thin crust pizza and we have found it to done just right. If I was in NYC, I would expect the floppie wedge. When we lived in Chicago, it was the thin crust pizza cut into squares. So we found Raceways pizza to be good. After several visits I thought I should review Raceway, Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"25 May ‘24 0930 Ordered breakfast for the family. Three western omelettes $9.95 each made with two eggs and came with grits and toast. The western omelettes came with bell pepper, ham, onion, and cheese? didn’t see or taste any cheese. Also ordered two hashbrown deluxe $9.50 each came with meat choice, onions, mushrooms, broccoli. The grits were gritty, way undercooked, no where near to thick and creamy. In my opinion omelettes should be nice and thick and fluffy, these omelettes were flat. The order came with butter and jelly. We got everything we ordered so that’s a plus. It was good enough but nothing I’ll be coming back for."

"I was craving seafood and decided to check this location out.. just a few things that ppl should know. If you dine in..they automatically at 15% tip to the check.. Service was rather slow and the server needed to be waved at to get his attention.. he never came back to our table after he dropped our food. The seafood boil bag flavors are useless of you get medium or hot.. since it doesnt come with potatoes or corn ...the price quickly adds up since you have to add thoseitems. Maybe monday nights are for basketball but it was so loud you couldn't hear the person across from me speaking. Parking is limited..dont park on the streets...the area will leave you with smashed windows... The shrimp are not devained... this along with the loudness with ppl.screaming is why i deducted 1 star. We ordered chili chz fries, and 2 boils..with shrimp and crawfish. $84 bill) Currently market price is 17.99 for everything.. however.. being from a coastal state..I can assure you crawfish and shrimp are not the same price...ever.. The food overall was good. It was great...because it was lacking the garlic butter and lemon pepper flavor that we ordered. I would go back but be a little more aware of my flavor choices. The seafood was good and cooked properly... not tough or over cooked so thats a plus. If you dont set high expectations then you'll be fine"

"I was pleasantly surprised by the prices for downtown Philly. We actually left a few other places because their a la carte menus would have cost nearly $100 for the four of us. Instead, we spent less than $40 for a whole pizza, a large bag of chips, family-sized fries, and four drinks. It was more than enough food, and everything tasted great. I had low expectations, but it turned out to be a fantastic lunch with the family. The staff was incredibly friendly as well."
