"Went there with my husband for a date n nite . The food was awesome and so was the service I ordered a petite skirt steak meal. The steak was so tender and juicy that you did not even need a knife to cut it.. the creamed spinach was delicious and so creamy. My had filet mignon that was cooked to perfection and mouthwatering. I recommend Frank’s steakhouse to everybody specially, if you’d like a nice date night like we had or just to go there and just have some really really good food."

"Okay here we go!My wife 's family was visiting from Chicago and we have other members that live in Charlotte and we decided to meet and have lunch at CBG..Online reviews were okay and it was very large and spacious to accommodate a party of ten.Well we arrived at around 3:00, 7 of us walked in to scope out a table and we just stood inside the door while 2 young ladies were busy on their cell phones, they looked up at us and quickly went back to their phones.The place was fairly deserted so it wasn 't as if they were slammed.No Hi welcome to CBG, no acknowledgement at ALL!I have been in the food service business for years and this total lack of being ignored already soured whatever anticipation that I was looking forward to.We secured our own table and got our first round of drinks ourselves.Several wait staff ambled past our booth with not a single one asking if we had been helped.We finally caught the attention of Zack who apologized profusely for the situation.We moved into the larger part of CBG because the booth we were in needed to seat 4 more people.Everyone arrived and service was still spotty..We even contemplated going somewhere else...Once Zack gradually took control the service got better.Food was decent, menu is limited...Pizza, corn dogs, salads and the biggest disappointment came in the form of their $12.00 cheeseburger.I am a retired chef and I am well versed in the FOH/BOH workings of a restaurant.I was elated that I could order it rare..Yay!When the burger hit the table, I was already bummed.It was not the thick slab of ground beef patty I had envisioned but rather 2 very very thin patties cooked just past medium.Add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions and think Micky D 'sJust my opinion.All in all we had a great time catching up and drinking some of the MANY different beers that are on tap...So if you go ask for Zack, he did end up doing a great job.Probably will not go back as a couple but if and when family returns we may consider it, now that we know what to expect.(Oh and on a side note, not sure why but there was more than a few security guards roaming the patio)Parking: Be prepared to walk...."

"Update! This place decided to get back to me 7 months after my issue and instead of being apologetic about the issue, they wanted to patronize me. This place is garbage food ran by garbage people! Honestly hope they shut down one day!Just got my order. Everything was terrible!The calamari was burnt and looked like they gave me only half the order.The wings were extremely soggy and showed a quality worse than 7-11.The pasta had burnt chunks all over it. You know, when you burn the bottom of the pot for the heat being too high. They just decided to scrape that garbage and mix it with the dish.When I called the restaurant asking for a refund I was told to call Uber eats which they do not have a phone number. I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS GARBAGE ?️Please note these comments are opportunities for improvement... Take advantage of it."

"We had a girls lunch and we all loved our choices. Two of the them had their favorite chicken salad that they get all the time, one got the Rueben and it was huge and could only eat 1/2 but enjoyed it and I had the Mayport shrimp and avocado salad and it was amazing! may be my new favorite! She's got short redhair she's an older christian. She's always very polite, always has a smile on her face. Always asks how the family's doing.. End always keeps us in her prayer.. "I've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, and the food is fantastic, especially considering the prices! My favorites include their pastelitos, patacones, French Toast Platter, avocado toast, mangu, and all of their smoothies are incredible! The healthy shots are also a great pick-me-up for my husband and me when we're feeling a bit under the weather—they help us recover naturally. I particularly love the Chocolate Almond Smoothie! Just a heads up: it takes some time to process orders because everything is made fresh, so I usually order ahead for a quick pickup. If you're not in a hurry, you can walk in, but keep in mind that there isn't much space to stand."

"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"Came here on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the neighborhood and glad we decided to try it. It is definitely a local place, but felt very welcome and comfortable. They have bar and table seating available. It is a great place to watch a game too as they have TV’s all over. In regards to the pandemic, mask are required to enter, all staff had on mask, social distancing was in place and each table had hand sanitizer available. Also, during our visit we did see them disinfectant a table. For food, they are known for their chicken fingers, but each dish we had was good. The chicken tenders were battered light, fluffy and buttery and their honey mustard was delicious. They do have different sauces available, but our friend recommended their honey mustard. We shared this as an appetizer, the dish is 6 pieces. For entrees, my boyfriend ordered their full slab of ribs which was a special (on a Saturday). I am personally not a rib person, but these were so good! I actually recommend these over the chicken fingers to be honest. They were cooked perfectly! Charred outside and so soft it came off the bone. I would have preferred more barbecue sauce, but I don’t mind to get a little messy. The ribs came with a choice of soup or salad and we tried their chicken and rice soup which was a broth and this was so good too! We weren’t sure what to expect since we are use to creamy rice chicken soup. I ordered a BLT sandwich which was tasty. I know super basic just a BLT, but they do not skimp on the bacon and the bacon was cooked perfectly and had flavor. Our waitress was so great! She was very friendly and kept checking on us. She was on top of our refills and before we received the ribs, she brought us a basket for the bones, extra napkins, and wet wipes. I’m not sure if this is something that they normally do or if she just did that, either way we appreciated it! I recommend to stop by if you are in the area or craving good soup or ribs."

"I would fly to New York every month just to be around these amazing people if I could afford it! You all are incredible, thank you once again for such a wonderful time! xoxo For those interested in booking for New Year's Eve, my husband and I started planning in February of 2023. We purchased our Bubba Gump New Year's Eve tickets as soon as they were released (make sure to sign up by email to be notified when sales begin, which I believe was around August/September). Despite the crowded streets, we felt very safe once we passed through security. With the high level of security present and the precautions taken, I believe it was the safest place to be on New Year's Eve. The toughest part was navigating through the crowd to reach the meeting point, where a Bubba Gump employee in a red visor will assist you through security. It's best to give yourself ample time and avoid engaging with the homeless or individuals in character costumes while making your way through the crowd. At the event, we met two couples who were very friendly and we had a great time together. We were able to leave our belongings at a booth without any issues. Throughout the night, there was plenty of food and drinks served by the bar. Bubba's mascot made an appearance to dance, and there were activities such as limbo and a congo line, along with two photo booth areas. Guests were given festive party favors and a goody bag with a shirt, large tumbler, and more. To sum it up, the New Year's Eve event at Bubba Gump was the best party and celebration I have ever attended, and I have no regrets! I would absolutely do it again without hesitation. In my opinion, they could be charging more for such a great deal, but they choose not to. This establishment and its staff are truly a treasure."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is even better. Everything from the appetizers to the entrées was perfect. The calamari was cooked perfectly, the crispy shrimp rolls were delicious, the crab cakes were filled with lump blue crab meat, and my daughter enjoyed the colossal shrimp cocktail. The lobster salad was excellent, while my son and I had the Red Snapper and our friends opted for the Salmon. The mixed drinks were strong and well-balanced, especially the margaritas. It was a wonderful night and Sarah, our host, was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for its top-notch food and service."

"I was craving Cajun food and stumbled upon the Big Easy Oven Tap through a Google search. I’m really glad I did! The Gator Bites and Crawfish Etouffee were absolutely delicious. The appetizer and the duck were more than enough to satisfy both of us, so we ended up saving the Beignets for later. Corinne, our server, was outstanding and anticipated all our needs, even when it came to the dessert we didn’t really need but couldn’t resist taking home! We’re definitely planning to return!"

"Saw the mixed reviews and was a little skeptical, but a Cajun restaurant owner in our hometown recommended this restaurant by name when we mentioned were were visiting New Orleans. We were very impressed by the food and by the attentiveness of the wait staff. Their seafood was delicious, cooked properly and well seasoned — it is amazing to taste the difference in FRESH seafood versus seafood that is shipped to restaurants frozen. I got the char grilled oysters and grilled fish and it was amazing. The butter sauce the oysters were cooked in by far made up for the fact that I prefer raw oysters. More than the seafood though I was BLOWN AWAY by the red beans and rice. I got them as a side and they were by far the best bowl I have eaten in my entire life."

"I stop there for lunch today. First time i have ate there. The lady that waited on me was so sweet and so nice. Why looking at the menu i notice they have alot of different stuff to eat. Pasta , soups , salads , sandwiches almost anything you want. I had lasagna and a salad. It was very good . This place also does catering i look at the prices and the prices are not bad at all. This place is open at 10:00 and closes at 6:00 during the week. I would go back and eat there again it a nice cozy place to seat and eat lunch with a friend. "I was a faithful customer for them for years, even though the pandemic until the other day. I was walking and I decided to get some food at the spur of the moment. I asked them for beef broccoli, simple right. I got home and seen that it was chicken broccoli, maybe I made a mistake on what I ordered. The next day I tried to order again while I was walking and made sure it was beef broccoli. When I got it they tried to convince me that it was beef broccoli when it was chicken broccoli. So they gave me a refund."
