"Naturally, I ordered tacos, specifically the pescatarian version. While the menu was extensive and inclusive, I found it a bit overwhelming. I prefer a simpler menu that clearly outlines appetizers and entrees in an easy-to-read format. Nevertheless, this didn't detract too much from my dining experience since I already knew what I wanted.
Upon sitting down, we were automatically served chips, and I requested some guacamole on the side. Unfortunately, the guacamole came topped with cheese. I appreciate the creativity, but in today's world, I'd prefer the option to request dairy or toppings since many people have dietary restrictions. I believe there's a lot of potential to cater to these needs by offering customizable dishes that allow diners to choose according to their preferences.
Now, onto the entrees— I ordered the birria shrimp tacos. They took a while to arrive, but when they did, they were hot, steamy, and beautifully colorful. However, they were unfortunately lacking in seasoning, particularly salt. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the presentation, but what good is food without seasoning? Is it still considered good?
I want my senses to be awakened! I want to not just taste the food, but truly indulge in the experience. Everything else was wonderful— our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere felt cozy. I just really needed that seasoning!"
