"Have you ever found yourself thinking about a meal you'd had days after the fact? Something that you had thought was good but not earth shattering at the time, but the more you thought about it, the more you appreciated the little touches that made yourmeal special? El Mono was such a lovely surprise that I couldn't fully comprehend how good it was at the time, and the more I dothink about it, the more I loved what I had and want to go back for more. I stopped at El Mono on a whim because Of been drivingout of SFO and really needed something decent to eat and I was feeling a little jaded about typical dinner fare. I've eatenPeruvian before and it is typically different enough to be interesting, so I headed over to El Mono. I split half a chickenalong with a number of sides and tried both of the two aguas frescas that they had. The drinks were sweet without being cloying. They also paired incredibly well with every dish that I had, and each dish paired well together too. I forgot to take picturesof everything that I had, but I could go on for quite some time talking about how much I loved my meal. It was a great time."
