"The restaurant is special in it's commitment to simplicity, authenticity, and camaraderie. The restaurant is family owned and operated, with two lovely older Italians serving, cooking and talking you through a wonderful night. Everything here screams Italian comfort food, from the fried calamari to their egg-drop Italian Wedding soup (with the richest broth I've ever tasted). The Spaghetti ai Calamari is my go to, with fresh calamari and mild red sauce over al dente spaghetti. The aromatics and the perfect texture of the spaghetti are, as a combo, an excellent choice. It's easy to get a table here during the week, so reservations aren't necessary. The owner is also the server most nights, and getting to talk to him is very wonderful. He has a presence about him that makes every visit special."
