"During our lunch visit, I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and a side of fries. Let’s start with the positives: the fries were excellent—plentiful, crispy, and served hot, with no greasiness at all. However, while the sandwich was tasty, I found it a bit challenging to locate the chicken with each bite. The bread was also a tad firmer than I prefer, making it difficult to enjoy the sandwich without squeezing it, which shifted the filling around. I believe they used ciabatta bread, and I would have preferred something softer.
My dining companion ordered a hamburger topped with cheese and mushrooms, and it was incredibly delicious. The meat was thick and seemed very lean. I managed to snag a bite and would definitely choose that next time we visit. This is the kind of neighborhood café/bar that I wish we had in our area. Oh, and it seems dogs are very welcome here—just consider the name!"
