"We went on a Saturday after looking for alternatives to ice cream that were a little bit healthier. We found a clean, all-white room with a lovely backdrop. All the pretty decorations didn 't help when it came to figuring out what, exactly, was being created and, more critically, how to place an order. Looking at the wall full of made-up titles for food, I questioned the cashier, how do I ordered, only to receive a blank gaze in reply. When I said, This is our first visit; please explain the process, the cashier and the attendant both gave me blank stares. I finally yielded and pointed to two images of their summer staples, and they each asked me twice for the name of the dish twice like if i was making up the names. My daughter, who is 3 years old, enjoyed the desert because they tossed around 90 pieces of m&ms into it. The thought immediately crossed my mind that I had originally come here seeking a more nutritious option.... So far as I can tell, ICENY is a hybrid of a crepe maker and a coldstone. The ice cream was nothing special, the staff consisted of teenagers, and the music was too loud to warrant a return visit."
