"I will not be returning to Haywards in the future. I was disappointed to see them measuring their ice cream portions. Visible portion control, especially in a family-owned business, is off-putting to me. I suggest trying Whyte Farms in Rowley instead. Even Subway avoids visible portion control. If Haywards stops being so focused on saving money, I may reconsider dining there again."

"I was driving and decided to give the strawberry kiwi sorbet a try since it was the only option available. To my surprise, it was delicious and had a creamy texture instead of the icy consistency often found in other sorbets. However, I was a bit let down that the coconut/oat milk black raspberry flavor advertised on their website wasn't available. Overall, I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area."

"I visited this restaurant for a company outing filled with games and food. The food was decent, but the ice cream really stole the show. I would recommend avoiding the strawberries, as I mistakenly thought it was fresh strawberries rather than a strawberry sauce. The black raspberry chip yogurt was incredibly creamy, and the combination of raspberry and chocolate was delightful. The mocha chip was also creamy, and you could genuinely taste the mocha flavor. I only managed to visit the driving range and batting cage because the lines for the other activities were quite long."

"We ordered a large brownie sundae and it was plenty for three people. Since we weren't aware of the portion sizes, we also ordered a large Squealer with Butterfingers. However, we were just two people! Everything was delicious, and we appreciated the venue (which has a parking lot) and the friendly staff."

"I love these types of restaurants. Everything is take out and they have a lot picnic tables in the back. They have a lot of food options and many flavors of soft and hard serve ice cream. I had a hot dog with fries and the bun was toasted to perfection. I also had a cup of the clam chowder. The food was great and comes out quick. For ice cream I had the raspberry swirl with sprinkles. It was hard to pick a flavor because there were so many. A nice spot to stop by on a nice day."

It was rich and wonderfully cold, staying that way for quite a while—something I really appreciate since I can’t stand it when ice cream melts too quickly. Although the line was long, it moved quickly. The staff was friendly and offered great recommendations when I asked for suggestions. I would definitely come back here again. The portion of chocolate I received was huge, well worth it! If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be that the servings are so large, I feel like you should be allowed to choose two flavors. But that's a tiny issue because the taste was absolutely fantastic. Overall, I give Bedford Farms Ice Cream a 4.5 out of 5!"

"good local ice shop, large portions, friendly and helpful staff and very popular in the local community. they have a great selection of aromen and are happy to offer taste. the main thing to note is that their sizes are super large; they may ask for child size unless they are quite hungry! Also note that there is an outdoor order switch and there is nowhere to sit; most people are in warmer weather, or sitting in their cars while enjoying their frozen tasty. he closes in january and february, so be warned."

"The shop may be small, but the service was fast. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of ice cream we received. There was a nice selection of flavors to choose from. I especially appreciated that they placed toppings at the bottom of the cup in addition to the top of the ice cream; it was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly, and there are a few benches outside the shop where you can sit and enjoy your treats."
