"I stopped by for a quick cookie this afternoon and was disappointed to find that the lobby was closed due to staffing issues. We decided to use the drive-thru instead. The employees were friendly and took orders manually alongside the drive-thru, which was a bit unusual but they were helpful and efficient in handling it. However, we were let down again when we learned they were out of the Andes mint frosting we ordered for our cookies, so chocolate frosting was substituted instead. The coconut cookie was delicious, and the frosting enhanced its flavor even more. One of my favorite things about Swig is that all the cookies are chilled, just how cookies should be!"

"Bummed in my experience here yesterday because they messed up 3 parts of my order resulting in my son crying because there was no gummy shark in his drink (his favorite part), the forgot to give us a cheese sauce for our pretzel bites, and gave me an extra kids drink instead of the mini cookie cup that I ordered. Should have checked things better before I left but still very disappointed in the multiple mistakes here."

"Please train your servers to prevent traffic jams at both the start and end of the line, as this disrupts the flow in those areas. Consider following the examples set by Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out: if there's an issue with an order, have the car pull into a designated stall for service rather than causing a backup of 14 vehicles. It can be quite frustrating! On a positive note, the drinks were excellent!"

"Typically, I have had a very good experience at this location and even as I write this review, the drink service was 5 stars. Why I put a 1 star here was the sketchy attempt at adding a tip to my drive-through order without telling me. I was just trying to make it easier was the response, even though I hadn 't chosen a tip yet. Easier? As a customer, I get to choose my tip and instead of providing one, I give this 1 star and warning before signing your payment away: Check your total because I think folks are giving tips without knowing it."

"Only use Molly’s Cupcakes South Loop if you want your pre-paid order to be lost and to be treated rudely! Between work and personal events, I’ve placed probably a few dozen bakery orders from different bakeries all over the city. Only once before had the bakery not had my order ready and they went out of their way to make it right. Not Molly’s Cupcakes South Loop! The employee insisted there was no order because “she does all the orders for the weekend”. After showing her the paid invoice (paid more than 7 days ago) she continued searching some binders and computer system all along saying there’s no order. As the order was for a kid’s birthday party that was going on right down the street I really needed the cupcakes so I asked her what can she do. She said she can’t do anything without approval and continued saying “there’s no order. I’ll text them”. I waited for a while as the employee continued to serve other clients who were coming in with no interest in helping me. I then asked again if there’s something she can do and was told she maybe had enough left over cupcakes for part of my order but she had to serve the other clients. I then asked for a refund and again was told she can’t do that because she waited for approval. I kept waiting and when it became clear she had no interest in helping me I asked for a refund. She again refused. I left the place in tears and will be taking it up with my credit card company. I never felt so grateful for Jewel down the street. I understand mistakes happen but at the very minimum have the decency to pretend to care let alone help fix the mistake. Stay away from Molly’s Cupcakes!!!"

"My ex husband introduced me to this place years ago. I was debating on giving it 4 starts only because I tried the Keto drink (see below the classic milk tea) and it was not good. I’m going to give the keto drink one more try. They posted a green one I’ll try however this one was bland I wouldn’t recommend it. I still give this place a 5 star because besides the keto drink anything else is delicious. My kids and husband always go for the banana smoothie with tapioca. I did try a sample of the keto pastries but I went kinda late so I think the sample I had might have been sitting there for a while and probably a corner piece so it wasn’t moist nor soft). I hope the keto recipes improve and look forward to trying more."
