"We arrived as a group of four and saw that there wasn’t any free outdoor tables, so we had expected a wait. However, after putting our name down, one of the waiters brought out tables and chairs for us, so we were basically seated immediately. Not only that, but this place lets you drink your own wine AND WILL GIVE YOU WINE GLASSES FOR IT! The liquor store is literally 20 feet away and most tables had bought wine there for the meal. So you are supporting TWO local businesses — VERY NICE! Now for the food, I highly recommend the jerk lamb chicken or the curry chicken. Meat is literally fall off the bone tender and HUGE portions — we were literally cleaning the place of the jerk lamb, and it’s just spicy enough for you to feel the heat but still keep you coming back for more. The roti is BOMB though, and would definitely recommend getting this to compliment your meal and just help sop up the sauce. The plantains and steamed veggies included in each plate are also delicious : However, if they offer you the Mac and cheese as an add-on, I would say to pass: it’s decent but not worth the price. Service could have been better while we were dining; we didn’t get any water refills or check-ins, and had to flag down a waiter to order and get the check. However, for their initial service the treat of being able to drink your own wine with the meal the portions and quality of the food, I am still more than happy to give this place five stars. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the city."

"Still here? Fine, let’s dive in. What do you want when you go out to eat? Since the dawn of time, our needs haven’t changed much. Let’s start with nourishment. Our bodies require sustenance, and D&G delivers generous portions of deliciously seasoned dishes that will truly revive you. Treat yourself to this culinary experience now! Alright, you’re still reading? Here’s another highlight: when you dine at D&G, you’re not just enjoying the food — you’ll be in the wonderful company of Mac and his diverse staff. This place knows how to treat guests right, making sure that anyone who steps in to escape life’s daily challenges feels welcomed and appreciated. So, take whatever negativity you’re carrying, stash it somewhere — a ziplock bag, a backpack, wherever — and come enjoy a meal with some down-to-earth people. You’ll find yourself relaxing over wonderful food, surrounded by humble hosts. Thank me (or D&G) later; you won’t regret it. Honestly, why are you still reading? Are you intrigued? Let me remind you — skipping D&G is a huge mistake. If you haven’t been yet, no worries; you're forgiven. But you must fix this soon. Find a way to get there, whether by car, walking, or even crawling. Just get your body to D&G because a world of delightful experiences awaits you. And while you’re on your way, crank up some great tunes! Personally, I recommend Fear Nuttin Band, but it’s not a requirement to enjoy your time there. Just bring a positive vibe along — you don’t even need to be in a good mood to enjoy this place! By the time you leave, you’ll be smiling. So go, my friends. Eat well and be merry. Sincerely, Irish Sean."
