"tremendous cuisine in a restaurant deserving of a Michelin star but perhaps Miami not on 'the list ' of cities deserving thos accolades for some reason. i have dined at 4 Michelin restaurants in 3 countries by coincidence in past month and Alter was right up there , and perhaps superior, to all of them. Incredible tastes, textures and presentation. the staff was wonderful and Brad Kilgore himself came out to chat and get feedback. Truly the pinnacle of Miami dining at this moment...."

"This is a review of their ability to handle a large event order. NOT their products. Product tastes great. This was a wedding order...emails leading up to placing the order were friendly but....super slow response times and questions were not fully answered. They also forgot answers we gave to questions they had asked us. They didn't have enough staff for a tasting. Ok.. but not even one free slice of cake to taste? We bought samples anyways and the quality was there even on a random weekday from their case. If I wasnt so dead set at having a cannoli cake and heard good things about this place I would have looked elsewhere regardless.... Then scheduling a delivery was a total mess. First it was they could only deliver 8 am to 12 noon. After begging them they suddenly could deliver 12 to 5pm. Then the cake didn't show up. Nothing showed up. We called. No answer. We emailed as a shot in the dark. They happened to read the email...responded an hour plus later and got the desserts there another 40 min after that. They said it was a new secretary who tagged the order wrong for the next day. My sister in law ran to Tony's before we had heard anything back. They ended up reimbursing us for the stuff we got from Tony's. Only after me asking them to. If we hadn't asked for that they were only offering a 100 dollar VOUCHER. We had a large wedding cake and 2 trays that wouldn't have gotten to the event if we hadn't emailed them the same night...yet at first just a 100 dollar voucher? We lost the floral we had for the cake during the switch and thus il giardino cake looked naked because we werent expecting to need much frosting decor because of the flowers...... they did follow what we were looking for on the design of the cake but with out the flowers it looked wrong. I get it its a small business but from what I know its been around for a long time. Must be because of the pastrys because it's not for the event order coordination or customer service."

"Stopped in for lunch. The place was packed. All homemade cuisine. I tried the Philly Cheese steak with fries. Being from that area, I was disappointed with this sammich. I only requested onions on it, no peppers. The order was to go. Their cheese used was cheddar, which does not come on a Philly Steak. Philly cheese is served with either melted Velveeta or provolone, mozzarella. Trust me, there are soo many versions of this sammich, but if you advertise a Philly Cheese ?, well. I sat in the car to begin meal. Two napkins weren 't enough. My sammich was very wet for some reason and was a mess to deal with. It reminded me of French onion soup. The fries were crinkle cut and had a lot of seasoning on them. (Scraped it off so I wouldn 't overdose on sodium). I can 't say I won 't come back because there are some other items on their menu I 'd like to try. Their dessert cakes looked delicious. Stop in and give them a try. Judging by the full house for lunch, the locals love this place!"

"The Guy that does the cashier is a good Meriden for it to be a family black business own. Depends of the week of the day there's different servers, so it will be different Vybz every time u go. With that said food is tasty ???? depend on ur taste buds and what u like. It's always clean to perfection there's music played on gud days depend on the owner Vybz. There's bathroom doe the customers there's beers if u wanna lime etc. It's a lot of choices on the menu prices isn't high"

"I absolutely love this place! I meet my aunt here for coffee once a month, and it’s always a great time. Today, I tried a strawberry banana smoothie along with an egg and cheese on a bacon mozzarella bagel, and it was DELICIOUS! This spot offers an incredible selection of bagels, coffee, and pastries. Since it's Valentine's Day, they also have a wonderful variety of Valentine’s-themed treats, including HUGE chocolate-covered strawberries! I'm a big fan, so keep up the AMAZING work!"
