"The location can easily accommodate a large party up to 30-35 people at 1 long table if you understand simple math. I spoke to the manager several times confirming we will have a confirmed party of 20 coming on a specific date. Knowing the food and the owner David personally decided to have a girls party here. We came over and our table was occupied with the explanation of this party came before you, that's with multiple other tables possibly taking that party and Knowing we were supposed to be seated there. Was super unpleasant as we wanted to be next to each other as all ladies traveling from 3 different states. The salad leaves were not fresh somehow but the waitress did try to accommodate us , but certainly hard when you have 24 people in different locations. I chose the location specifically because to bring business to a local small business and not some chain restaurant. I asked several times to place us next to each other. Very sad because I won't be coming back to this specific Cafe del Sol due to not accommodating a simple request on a Sunday afternoon Knowing 2 months in advance we are coming."

"My first time ordering from here! The Breakfast Burrito was awesome! Super tasty with good egg, cheese and potato hash inside. It was hot when it arrived. I got a caramel Cafe Latte that was flavorful and had that wonderful, handmade, unique, family owned hole-in-the wall coffee shop kind of flavor that only places like this can have. Very good. Definitely will stop by in person!!"

"I had the pleasure of having dinner with my son this afternoon. I've been looking forward to visiting this place for a few months and it wasn't disappointed. I ordered her Senf Seed Salad and a lemon bar. Both were fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about the salad: the delicious crumbling crumbs, the tasteful dressing, the perfectly sweet and juicy yellow and red cherry tomatoes. And the best part: they were NOT with the MEAT! There was a good amount of bacon and turkey. The atmosphere was also charming. Sweet chalkboard tables and a sweet little beverage station have really created a welcoming feeling. Of course I will visit again. Thank you."

The ownership and management have listened to past concerns and exceeded the expectations of this iconic restaurant nestled in the foothills of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Chef Billy Sotello prepares from scratch delicacies ranging from the classic French cuisine of SPICED DUCK BREAST, ESCARGOT A LA BOURGUINON and BOUILLABAISSE. The attention to detail has regained my confidence in hospitality experiences. We recently dined on a Thursday evening on the main concourse amongst perfectly distanced guests and our server Shawn made us feel like we were the only people on the property. I ordered the SOUP DU JOUR and an A5 WAGYU CUT served with BLISTERED SHISITO PEPPERS. The combination was top notch and even though I left 2 days ago, I can't stop talking about how decadent and delicious my meal was. The steak was seared and cooked to perfection. The cut with marbling was straight out of the FOOD NETWORK TV screen and in front of me. I was taking pictures faster than filling my fork. It gets better. The food was delivered by an accomplished French language speaker. His accents and demeanor, even though I had no idea what he was saying, placed me far away from my worries and in the heart of a country almost half a world away. We were visited personally by the General Manager James Ables. He genuinely showed interest in our experience. Fantastique!"

"I would rate this place even lower than one star if I could. I've enjoyed their food for many years, but the customer service has really disappointed me. The prices are far too high for the quality of the food. They charged $21 for a chicken alfredo, which included a $4 delivery fee, and I live less than half a mile from the restaurant! It looks like I’ll have to give up my favorite food because I simply won’t order from them again."

"Ok, so I have always driven by and a friend said this place was amazing. We decided to grab a couple cocktails and camp out on the patio! We started off with an espresso martini, let me revamp that, the best espresso martini I have ever had. Strong statement considering I am in the industry and have a lot of different variations of this. We will be back even if just for this! We decided to pick on some apps- Cauliflower crust, strawberries, fig, goat cheese , blueberries, prosciutto. This was to die for, if you didn't tell me it was cauliflower shell I wouldn't have known. We then decided on the mussels, these had good flavor and a good amount of mussels, there was a ton of broth, wish there was more bread to soak some up. (We could have asked, but probably didn't need it lol) Our server Emma (I think) was awesome, attentive , not hovering but did t have to ask for anything! Can't wait to come back!"

"I absolutely LOVE this place! It is one of my favorite places to eat in Palo Alto! I love the 3-piece Hat Yai Chicken and Rice with the sweet chili sauce. The chicken is always crunchy and the pickled carrots and daikon, crispy onions and cucumbers are just the perfect combination! The portion is perfectly filling without overwhelming! The staff are always polite even during really busy hours. They can get quite busy after 5, so sometimes the wait can feel a bit long, especially if you're really hungry! The front end always looks clean and orderly. There are a lot of people that come through whether they order for pick-up or at the counter. The location is convenient, especially to Stanford. It is also right next to Palmetto Superfoods, which is an acai bowl shop, which is my favorite placed to grab an acai bowl! Even though the plaza is always busy, we always manage to find a parking spot. Definitely recommend you stop by and grab something to eat!"

"I absolutely adore the food, the drinks are top-notch, and the service is exceptional. Although I accidentally spilled a drink while watching something on TV (it was really my first one, I'm just clumsy), the staff was quick to respond and help clean it up. They even offered to replace the drink without any hesitation. Most other bars would have simply cleaned up the mess and assumed I was drunk without offering a replacement. The owner is incredibly kind and the staff is fantastic. The music selection is also superb."

"ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Definitely surprised with the quality of food and service. Thought it would be your typical sports bar food. Not even close! Sara, our waitress, Travis, the chef, both were extremely friendly accommodating. Can't wait to go back try more. Check out their website. Live music, Bandingo other nightly events and drink specials. So glad to find a great new place with good atmosphere, friendly involved staff and awesome food. Score! Update... Went back 2/18 8pm. Out of all dinner items except chicken wings, shrimp cocktail cheese curds. Manager ? said due to busy weekend holiday. No excuse... there's a Winn Dixie across the street."
