"most relaxing dining experience i’ve ever had! not overly crowded and noisy. very cozy spot kid friendly! dined in with my 1 year old and it’s always a rush for me because it gets too hectic with a baby but this time it was a great experience and atmosphere for us. my waitress kimberly was super nice and patient, it’s safe to say my baby made a new friend : . i had the blackened pork chops that were cooked to perfection with my salad that was so fresh and some bread! my baby had some spaghetti with tomato sauce that she really enjoyed! i’ll definitely be coming back soon. "A tremendous value. Everything was well done. Prices among the most reasonable you can find in Boston. Small but well run. Menu is a bit changed from whats online. Recommend you get a reservation, but worth a try to drop in without one and maybe get lucky. Not quite private or quiet enough to qualify as romantic, but I'd still come with a date anyway. "Angelo's was recommended to us by a family member who knows New York City and Italian food, and we were not disappointed. Despite being busy on the evening of 1/23/15, we had reservations and only had to wait a few minutes. The maitre d' was busy but still took the time to have a pleasant conversation with us. When he sat us down, I accidentally spilled my white wine on both him and myself. He reassured me that it wasn't a problem and even brought me another glass of wine. The dinner was incredible, with delicious calamari and bouillabaisse. As we were leaving, I thanked the maitre d' and he kissed me on both cheeks and hugged me, doing the same for my husband as well. This meal and experience set the tone for one of the best weekend trips we've had in New York City."

"This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. The food is always fresh and the atmosphere is very inviting. The basil and watermelon drinks can be made virgin and is perfect for a summer day or evening. My favorite dishes here are the rib eye steak, the tuna tartare, and the red snapper filet. Their watermelon hard ricotta arugula salad is addictive! Read that again, that's exactly the salad and its hard to find hard ricotta ANYWHERE! Their chicken dishes are all great, their bread is always fresh and warm, and the staff are always happy to see you. It's also very nice in the evening, with Dean Martin playing in the background at the right level, underneath their canopied front outdoor seating. It feels like someone's home. We very much enjoy everything about this place, from the food to the amazing staff (Max and Danny are the best! , the owner (everyone always has a smile on their face! , and the beautiful environment that they have continued to uphold. Plus, you just gotta love the name Spolini's!"

"Found this restaurant on Google and thought we'd give it a try. The food was comparable to the price we paid and by that I mean that it was not too pricey and the food was ok but not amazing. The flautas didn't have enough flavor and the nachos were loaded with iceberg lettuce. The nachos also lacked cheese and just had a drizzle of queso. We liked the nacho chips and salsa that we were given free before ordering. Soda was served in a can at $2.99 per can. Overall, a cute little restaurant that would be great for a quick bite before a movie without breaking the bank."

"We were feeling a bit nostalgia for this place as we haven't been here in about 10 years. Came for lunch (they open at 2) and just barely got a table because there was a party and the place was 80% filled with that. This of course made the small place rather loud. Service was a bit lacking due to the party but all the servers seemed to be hustling and working together and were friendly. We were disappointed they seem to no longer do the olive oil dip with the bread basket. Small prepackaged butter in it's place. The fried mozzarella was good but not as good as I remember maybe a bit smaller and was served luke warm same with the marinara. The veal dishes francese and marsala were both very good but maybe could have used a bit more sauce. The tartuffo dessert was lack luster but was priced fairly."

"Overall this was a very good experience and I would go back. We had a reservation and were greeted warmly and sat promptly. I was initially disappointed by two things-it’s was 2pm and we were given the dinner menus and not lunch menus and the bread brought to the table seemed stale -and no oil for dipping as I expected in the North End. Butter was cold and hard to spread. Not the end of the world but not a good first impression. We ordered an antipasto which for $20 was the size of a small dinner plate. The meats were nice, no cheese, olives, tomatoes, banana peppers, romaine with a nice lightly seasoned olive oil and vinegar simple dressing. We ordered eggplant parm (no side was included) which was very good and chicken puttanesca which was nothing short of amazing. It came with broccoli (light steamed and crunchy the way I like it but I know my mom would’ve considered it way too hard) and a sliced boiled potato which was surprising but I enjoyed it. The puttanesca sauce was out of this world good and alone will bring me back. We got perfect cappuccinos to end our meal. I felt the portions were lunch sized with dinner prices but overall enjoyed the food enough to return."

"My partner and I came here for all our dates when we lived on the street. We are 30 minutes away and still make the trip to enjoy a dinner with the family, or just us. "It's a nice Italian restaurant. The ambience of it, is good. My only complaints... A little steep on prices, per portions being to small. Otherwise, the garlic bisk was excellent, the frutti di Mera was good bigger portions needed. TheTiramisu was good, but that definitely needs to be a bigger piece. Bread and olives... Excellent. Suggestion, Italian herbs with the olive oil or balsamic vinegar or both. Other than these minor adjustments, you rank up there with Jameson Charhouse. Another good find, if you happen to be in Cary, IL."

"My friends and I decided to return to Little Italy for nostalgia's sake, and over the years, we've tried nearly every restaurant in the area. I truly wish I could give this place more stars! Our waitress was hilarious and absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the happy hour drinks tasted heavenly. The food was exceptionally delicious—not just "good for Little Italy." "This is my second time getting pickup from this restaurant. The first time I had an awful experience with I’m assuming the hostess (An older woman with glasses). She was very rude to me. I was just picking up an online order for my coworkers and I. I thought ordering this second time, I would have a better experience because the food itself is delicious and didn’t want to write off the entirety of this restaurant from one employee. I had an even worse experience this time. It was about 7:45pm and they didn’t close until 9pm. I walked in to pick up an online order and no one was in the front. I waited about 5 minutes and walked around the restaurant. There were no customers or employees in sight. I walked past the bar and both sides of the dining area and still no one. At this point, I’m in the back almost in the kitchen and I see someone cleaning silverware I believe and I say excuse me. No response. I say again excuse me a bit louder and the employee said What? I said I’m here to pick up an online order. I am wearing my work uniform again, getting dinner for my coworkers and I. The employee asked me DoorDash or Uber eats pickup? I said no, neither. This was an online order for myself. She told me they don’t do online orders. I realized after she took her mask off, this was the same woman with glasses that was rude to me the first time I came here. I told her this was my second time ordering online. She went to the back, and another girl came out with my order and handed it to me. I’m really disappointed this restaurant has staff members that act like this to customers. I really enjoy the food but unfortunately won’t be returning due to these experiences."
