"Wonderful find in beautiful Boca Raton across from the Morikami museum. Lovely casual atmosphere and ambiance that offers outdoor dining. The food was delicious and impressive. Cooked to order. Best sake martini in Florida so far! Ginger chicken was freshly prepared and very tasty. Appetizers (edamame, gyoza and miso soup) were all seasoned and cooked perfectly. Decent proportions and reasonably priced. Skilled kitchen and wonderful vast selection of dishes. I will definitely return to try more dishes! Update- 2nd visit was sadly not as satisfactory. Martini had too much sake or vermouth, Thai dumplings were pasty, felt very rushed and server was rather abrupt and not very friendly. Perhaps she shouldn’t have come on this day. On a positive note the Mongolian beef and Kanu roll was very tasty."

"The dishes are absolutely fantastic, bursting with flavor. Each plate is prepared with great care. I particularly enjoyed the deep-fried calamari with sweet hot sauce—it was excellent! I also tried the Tom Yum seafood, which was perfectly balanced between spicy, sweet, and sour; it was delicious. You can genuinely feel that the staff loves what they do, and I appreciate their passion. It shines through in every aspect of their service."

"this is my second favorite Thai restaurant in all nyc. eating: I have been here since 2018. it is a great place for vegetarians, as they have tofu, veggie and mock dock options. eating here is well seasoned and made to taste. they have also tried to provide my mother, who is allergic to wobble and garlic. everything is made to order and the sweet is fresh. the spring rolls do not feel too oily and are crispy. the pad kea mao is really good here. I like that the nudes don't hang together and they make it really spicy for me what I love. on thai is one of the few places where I could find the kao soy entree. I love the tartness of the red apple and the curry is delicious. the size of the noodles is also exactly what they want in a soup noodle dish. the portions are the correct size so they do not feel hungry or overcrowded. ambiente: the decoration is beautiful and welcoming. you feel in a pretty ankle garden. the tables are fairly well packed so it gets a bit tight. their outside seats are also really nice. they have created a summer garden look and it is so inviting that even when they pass, they stop to see the restaurant. delivery: I also got the delivery from here and they try to pack everything in a wise way, so it is not spilled and still hot. eating keeps going well."

"Ordered two meals last night! Pad Thai Jay and Pad See Ew Jay! Fully vegan both were 2/4 stars on spice. Too good to remember to get a picture. Definitely will next time. Vibe was nice and calm, went during the evening and loved the environment. Plan on dining in soon. And trying every vegan meal offered. Side Note: forgot to crop phone number "

"My wife and I met up with some friends here for a low key Sunday night dinner. My first impression walking in is that it's a really cool, cute looking Thai American joint. Parking was kinda meh, but was lucky to find street parking right in front of the restaurant. Waitresses were kind and respectful, and very patient as we delayed our orders to catch up. When we finally ordered, we got the food minutes after, which is awesome. For apps, we got spring rolls (OK, nothing special , chicken wings (better , curry puffs (so good! and seafood salad (very fishy! . I can't help myself and I have to order drunken noodles (pad kee mao and Tom Yum soup (even though they have a huge selection , and my wife ordered the Pad See Ew. I asked for the drunken noodles to be Thai spicy it was pretty spicy, but nothing ludicrous. It was fresh, but a bit short of the authentic, rich flavor I was craving. Still good though. Tom Yum was delicious, and perfect for a cold night. I ended up eating my wife's leftover Pad See Ew when we got home and it was delightful too. A friend ordered the catfish curry and boy oh boy that looked amazing. I ordered some taro milk tea (with boba and that was delightful, even though I was stuffed. The staff were very kind, as they allowed us to sit and chat an hour or so after we finished our meal. I would definitely come here again! I'm giving 4 stars because I am very particular about my pad kee mao, but I can assure you it's like a 4.6. Very good food, and I definitely recommend dining in!"

"I came here with my buddy, because I wanted Tom Yum soup and Green Curry. When the waiter came to take our order, we asked for a Thai Iced tea, a pineapple (alcoholic), Fried Pork Dumplings and a Tom Yum with white meat chicken (spicky level, large enough to share with 2-4 people). For Entrees I got Green Curry (image level) and he got something from the fried rice menu (also spicy). Our waiter asked if we were sure about the spices as their food is spicier than most. My Bf and I both feel as if we were amazing in the treatment of spices. So, we both felt ugly about the spice level and excitedly told the waiter that we wanted it. Tom Yum (photo): It hurts to eat, but we both thought it was still delicious. The soup coated our tongue and lips and ensured a lasting fire. I don't sweat when eating spices, but my bf immediately began to sweat with thick balls. I had to eat the soup slowly. We were only able to finish half the soup while I know that I could finish the whole thing by myself when the spices were more tolerable. The waiter/bartender was nice enough to give me a Mai Tai (unsolicited), as he was sweating and instantly soup. The waiter explained that Mai Tai helps in burning. It did. And it was good. Pork Fried Dumplings: 6 pieces per order, the pouring skin was thicker than I expected and reminded me of Bao that was fried. I still liked it. Green Curry (picture): When I had to eat my gut, my mouth was still in slow burning pain from the soup. The green curry that had a red color was also incredibly sharp. I ate it very slowly. The waitress brought us another water ankle and asked if I wanted to make my curry less sharp (by dilution with coconut milk). I say, "Yes, please." While I wait for my duck to return, the waiter/bartender gave me another iced tea and my bf another pattern/half glass from Mai Tai, unrequired! He's so amazing. The waitress came back with my green curry, and now it is actually green! It was so much tolerable and so delish. When the waiter died again, I asked what the new spice was. He said mild to medium or “mild plus”. We took the rest of our ducks and the soup to go. We were full of all the liquids needed to extinguish the fire. At this point I was full and super happy with her service. We were well treated and the free drinks loved. The food was delish, even if we should have left the middle spice level. We were modest this experience and we will be back. We'll order mild medium."

"The staff at this restaurant were extremely helpful and accommodating when I mentioned that I was vegan. Our server was knowledgeable about the ingredients and confirmed with the chef to ensure that my meal was suitable. I ordered the Tow Hou Pad Prik, which was deliciously spicy and the fried tofu was excellent. The veggie spring rolls for appetizers were also top-notch. We were already making plans to come back for another visit while still enjoying our main course. We ordered two appetizers, two entrees, and four cocktails for $100 before tip. I would give this place 5 stars if the app allowed it for non-vegan establishments. It is a great spot for a date night and our server suggested trying the yellow curry for our next visit, which I am excited to try out."

"Ordered take out from 5 Star Thai after seeing the great reviews and wanting to try a different thai restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, the food was shockingly bad. I try to avoid writing negative reviews, but it’s worthwhile for people to know and I really hope the restaurant will take this feedback and improve. We need a great Thai option in the area. Here’s what we go: Steamed Chicken Dumpling: very dense, lacked flavor, tasted like a steamed chicken nugget, if the chicken in the chicken nugget was dense. Tom Kha Gai This was maybe the best item. Still not the best Tom Kha Gai I’ve had, and far from it, but totally fine. Duck very unevenly cooked. Parts were tasty and parts were so over cooked it was inedible. Pad Thai with Chicken chicken was very dry. Pad Thai was the worst I’ve ever had. Lacked the depth of flavor that a pad Thai should have. It was really just noodle! It was missing all the ingredients of a proper pad Thai. Mango sticky rice This is one of my Favorite desserts, so let’s say I’ve had lots of Mango Sticky Rice. 5 star Thai’s version was a gelatinous mess. Rice was gloopy. Mango lacked flavor, but can’t blame the restaurant for that. Next time will need to order when mango is in season. Overall, giving the place 2 stars instead of 1 because the majority of the food was at least edible."

"Innovative Thai dishes that are well prepared and served by helpful staff. Good for dine-in or take out, although there can be a wait for takeout. If you're not familiar with Thai food, they have a picture menu available that let's you see what dishes looklike. If you're still unsure, try the 9 pad Thai, the house signature dish. You won't be disappointed. If you're moreadventurous, try the fried watercress salad. It is like nothing you're every had before. It is delicious both without and withthe dressing. My only complaint here is that they charge for extra rice. Considering the prices of the dishes, they couldinclude one extra serving of rice without charge."

"We were seated promptly but our drink order seemed to be forgotten. 2nd person finally brought it after asking us. We tried this place based on the description of the spring rolls. We were served a roll which was filled with lettuce and a very small piece of shrimp. (5$ It was hard to order if you don't know how to pronounce the dishes thus, our server (3rd person to see to us. Served us the wrong item. We had to reorder and wait for new food as I could not eat items in the 1st dish. We had budgeted less for this meal than we ended up paying. Overall we felt the food and service were not up to par and we would not return."

"Our family dined at Pongsri prior to taking in a Broadway show nearby. We’re Thai aficionados and have many Thai friends and acquaintances and have been to many Thai restaurants and Pongsri is a must stop. Service staff were very attentive. The food was superb. I was very hungry and started with the Pacific Volcano soup an entree on its own. Superb and spicy broth with a lot of seafood including calamari, scallops, clams, mussels, shrimp, etc. I then had the whole fried red snapper awesome a true Thai specialty. My cousin had an excellent curry and our knees were very pleased with their Thai spring rolls, pad Thai, orange chicken and beef dish. We would definitely return and Pongsri is definitely a must try and not just if you’re in the theater district area but a well deserved stop if you’re staying anywhere in NYC."

"The reason i gave a one-star rating was due to all the sneezing, hacking while laughing, and excessive coughing i heard coming from the kitchen. You can hear the difference between someone who covers a sneeze as opposed to someone sneezing into the open air. It made it impossible to enjoy the food. I regret not canceling my order altogether, but i was on a date and didn't want to seem rude. I brought the sneezing and coughing to the attention of the server and asked if they wear masks in the kitchen. He said no, but they covered their mouths. He walked into the kitchen and said something, and then it got very silent. As we were leaving, the cook came out to the dining area and started picking his nose while looking at us. I will definitely be bringing this to the attention of the health department."

"The perfect hole in the wall Thai restaurant! Bottom line: come here if you're craving Thai food or want to try it for the first time. It's a no frills kinda place and a 5/5 for it being what it is. I ordered 4 different items and all of them packed so much flavor and punch and was everything I was looking for. If you are going to go, I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND the below. All of it is so so good so anything you order should deliver. You will be asked for spice level (Mild, Medium, Hot) and I ordered all medium for mine and it was a true medium! Enough heat to taste but not burn your mouth. Tom Kha Gai Coconut Soup Pad Thai It looks a bit questionable on the outside and the inside is really quaint and that of an authentic restaurant. There's plenty of seating at tables and booths. The service was really good in that you are asked for what you want to drink, then what you want to eat, and checking in towards the end of your meal if you want anything else. Easy, simple, straight to the point!"

"The appetizers were EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!! ( Brie Brulee unbelievably delicious!!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad was refreshingly cold, crisp, very tasty and a superb bite. The entrees? Not so much: Crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked..like eating raw dough. The Taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the Gyro Platte, and difficult to access in order to spread on the pita/meat/greens combo, and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the gyro plate per se was eye-catching but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything. The salmon was awesome, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens under everything were too chewy and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was flavorless , but the mousse cake/pie had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had NO bitterness.I would recommend Thea's for FABULOUS appetizers and an awesome beet salad but the entrees left a lot to be desired ."

"Used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. My husband and I have been coming here the first week of every month for over a year as our date night. But on our most recent visit, January 31st, a lot of things had changed. They hired a new waiter who was good but we missed our usual lady. They changed the look of the menus, changed the drinking glasses, and the food had definitely changed. I order the Singapore Noodles with chicken every month so I know what it normally tastes like, but this time the celery was cut differently and they included the gross white bottoms of the celery, the chicken was almost undercooked, the peppers and carrots were cut too big and weren’t cooked enough. The flavor was okay but the veggies were bland. Like they hadn’t had a chance to soak up the flavor of the spices. Like I said, this place used to be my favorite restaurant. The food and service was amazing. But in the month of January, something changed with the chefs and the waiters and the way the place is run and it was for the worse. Won’t be coming back regularly unless it goes back to normal. :"

"Stopped here after a cold rainy day of sight seeing. The staff was really nice and attentive. We got the Thai tea, calamari appetizer, panang peanut curry with veggies and tofu, and shrimp pad Thai. Everything was delicious. The dipping sauce for the calamari and pad Thai were especially delicious. The mango sticky rice looked great, and they had a bowl of ripe mangos on the bar so I'm sure it would have been delicious, but we were too stuffed for dessert."

"This review is refer to a food delivery through GRUBHUB. We order two lunch specials Pad Khee Mao (chicken) and Classic fried rice (beef), both are along with a small box of salad. Also we got Golden fried tofu as our side dish. If you are in a hurry orjust fancy Thai food but feel lazy to cook, go order House of Thai! Food comes quick and well packed, keeps hot and warm when wegot. Pad Khee Mao is kind of spicy pad Thai noodle, although it?s blending with heavy sauce, you can still tell the ingredientsare fresh and the flavor is performing with harmony. Golden tofu tastes crispy outside yet solid of inside firm tofu. Lovelyexperience with decent value. Would certainly go visit in person next time when craving authentic Thai food again."
