"I agree with the other reviews that it is important to confirm that everything you order is vegan. The great news, at least in my experience, is not only will they do this, the food is exceptional. I'll eat a powerhouse salad (kale, brussel sprouts, and pumpkin seeds etc) with a delicious beet burger on top and vegan fig balsamic dressing on the side. It is a lunch I never tire from because it is NOT a lifeless, mushy, barely flavorful salad. Flavor and texture is something the chef takes seriously, including for vegans, and has done it for 20 some odd years on a major college main street where restaurant turnover is very high. The seitan, wonderful homemade veggie beet burger, falafel, and tofu options are wonderfully done by the chef all made in house and always nicely seasoned. The flexibility in the menu is KEY to this place. If you make it clear to your sever nearly any salad (and many sandwiches and entrees) can be veganized by substituting meats for any of the above options. Unfortunately, the terrific polenta fries are no longer on the menu. And if your in the mood for a craft beer they always have a great selection."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"The delivery service is consistently slow. If they manage to get something delivered within an hour, that's considered a win. However, tonight it took an hour and twenty minutes. On top of that, they charge a $2.00 delivery fee for this so-called service. It’s not just about delivery, either. Recently, my wife called in for two subs and some potato skins half an hour before picking them up, only to wait an additional 25 minutes once she arrived. The food itself is typical pizza house fare—it's hit or miss. You can never count on having a great meal there; it's just enough to keep you from going hungry. The only reason we continue to order from this place is because the other options in the area aren’t much better."

"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"We have gone many times to the Sunday Brunch have not been disappointed yet. We like the offerings and the opportunity to try a new omelet each week. Our waitress was new but you would think she was there for years. She came at the right times to check up on us, not too much, not too little. The dinners are great also. The ownership and managers are very conscientious and personable. Our new goto spot"

"Visited a couple of year's ago and discovered the revelation that is an oyster on hamburger! Hamburger was cooked to a true med-rare as ordered not overcooked like most places) and topped with a plump, flash-fried oyster very lightly battered) that pleasantly melted into the sandwich with my first bite. I remember those details bc since then I've debated coming back, not wanting to ruin that specifically delicious gastronomic memory. I broke down and risked it today while visiting SF, and remain very happy! Oyster was not as plump, but then not all oysters are created equal. Nice hint of horseradish in the aoli. It's more costly than I usually spend on a hamburger $18), but the meat is fresh, local and totally worth it. Comes with a tasting of their cole slaw, so I didn't really need a side order of anything. Plan to return tomorrow b4 leaving town bc I want to try their liver and onions."

"the experience in pizzeria was uno, as I thought would be to eat authentic chicago deepthroat meal pizza. the ambiente was Swiss and energetic, and the mood was old-school Italian American. from an Italian background, eating came to me well. the meatballs were delicious and the Marinara sauce was also quite good. the deep pizza itself reminded me of a panzarotti or a calzone. the toppings were fresh and I was happy that there was a little more authentic taste than some of the reviews that we have heard about other chain restaurants that have specialized in deep food pizza. overall the crust of a deep dish is generally not my preference, since it is more of a crispy buttery, but for what it was, it was a total of 7/10!"

"The pizza was very lack luster. The service was great but that couldn't bring up my review. The salad was soggy but then again its a pizza place not a salad place. The pizza crust was solid as a rock and somewhat cold by the time it got to the table. I like Quad city style pizza but this wasn't a great representation of it. The place itself wasn't too loud so great place to grab a bite catch up with friends before a show at second city. But its food to fill your stomach, not really for enjoying."

"The restaurant was inviting, though my husband and I would have preferred the quieter front room as opposed to the noisy, larger seating area. The food was delicious and the vegetarian options were inventive. I loved the porcini sachetti and my husband got the ravioli and beef tenderloin, which he also enjoyed though he thought the portion was small (I'm inclined to think it was just enough! The overall experience was great, I can't wait to go back when the deck is open."

"Fish is a beautiful spot! We have lived in Naples for 17 years. Fish its sister restaurant has always been a must in our restaurant circulation. Over the last couple of years the food has not been what it used to be. Menu used to have a good variety of food but majority now is sushi. Not much of a selection for non seafood lovers. Because of the location we do still come in once in a while for the ambiance and a ok meal but very pricey. HOWEVER, the one thing that is unacceptable is the attitude of the hostess! What a snotty little inexperienced young lady. We were greeted with a “you have to wait” remark when we approached the hostess stand. No “welcome to our restaurant do you have a reservation” or “I’m sorry sir one moment please”. The reservation was made for an outside table when she asked if an inside table was ok I said “no I requested an outside table”. That was followed up with an “eye roll” from her. When she found a table for us walked over with menus she said “let’s go”. Really??? This is the way you speak to customers??? If we did not have guests with us, we would have walked out. How dare a young person who is the first face of the restaurant address customers in such an nasty unprofessional manner. The owners should be concerned with how their employees represent their establishment. These 2 girls need some polishing."

"I stooped by here on a Wednesday night as this place used to be very popular years ago. Upon entering you get a fishy smell which I already did not like. I know this place serves sushi but the odor of fish is not really a good sign.We sat down and someone came to take my order after 5 min which was pretty decent. I got the chicken katsu with their soup, the fried dumpling appetizer and a combo fried rice. the food took some time to come out but it wasn't such a long time. upon receiving it I was disappointed with the taste of the food. the fried dumplings were the best out of everything ordered and the food was edible but the taste felt different than what I am used to at other locations. the chicken katsu was missing flavor in the crust/batter so it tasted a bit bland to me. the combo fried rice had an odd taste that I only enjoyed the shrimp on it and not the pork or chicken mixed into it."

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"I had heard great things about this restaurant, so I made reservations for my birthday a week in advance. Our party of seven experienced a very long wait, and when our food finally arrived, only half of the dishes were served. The remaining items came out much later, by which time the food had gone cold. My steak was overcooked and had to be sent back, and my salmon was undercooked and also had to be sent back. Overall, it was a negative experience as the waiter seemed frustrated with the kitchen. However, the restaurant did take off several items from our bill."

"Great atmosphere and ambiance. The setting for outdoor dining-along the river with a wonderful deck and patio-makes for a wonderful summer dining experience. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not amazing. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Bend."

"We ate here during the Paseo Arts Festival. We initially tried to make a reservation using Open Table, but someone from the restaurant called me a few days later to inform me that Picasso Cafe was not taking reservations during the Arts Festival. We arrived at 12:15 pm and put in our names. Our party was called just before 1:00 pm. Fortunately, we had the Arts Festival to keep us busy while we waited. I ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. It sounded good in the menu description -- seared chicken breast, avocado slices, swiss cheese, bacon, and bourbon honey mustard. However, I ordered it without the cheese because I have been to too many places where they do not know how to melt cheese on grilled sandwiches and I don't want to be a picky customer on my second visit to a restaurant. Anyway, it was difficult to hold the sandwich together. I ended up taking the avocado slices off of it so that there was enough friction for me to hold it together and eat it. The seared chicken breast was the best part, closely followed by complimentary lettuce and tomato (crisp and cold) and the honey mustard (good mix of sweet and tangy). I ordered the napa cabbage slaw for my side dish. It was served with a light dressing so that the cabbage stood out. This is not a slaw for people who prefer not to taste the cabbage. I would like to come back and try some more things. However, if I have the chicken sandwich again, I am going to leave out both the swiss cheese and the avocado. I would also like to see if they have a wheat bun because that would pair better with this mix of flavors and textures."

"The food here was delicious the service was very friendly and the prices weren't too bad. They have free pool games for men and women on certain nights and drink specials on certain nights. You should look into it if you haven't ever been here."
