"The greeter/ host was friendly, respectful and helpful. Our wait person, while adequate, seemed to be pretty done with our party of 2 at a certain point. There is a fine line a good wait person walks between timely, let 's move this along service, and causing diners to feel rushed. The smiles faded, and, well, I felt rushed towards the end, and in no way were we dawdling we both eat pretty rapidly. Benefit of the doubt, maybe they did not feel great . . . The food here tastes freshly made, but the quinoa fritters were more like non corn hush puppies with quinoa. The yogurt dressing needs a spark of spicyness IMO, and maybe the 'fritter as well. Presentation was nice tho! My friend had shrimp and grits, and while it was relatively tasty, she was put off by sweetened grits with shrimp. In her mind (and I agree) shrimp says savory, so no sweetener in the grits. How 'bout just not sweeten grits period, irrespective of accompaniment? The gingerbread latte and spritzers were tasty, and the ambiance was nice someone arranged the tables so that you didn 't feel like you should test for COVID after the meal was over. Brava for that!! I appreciate you. I would come here again interested in tasting the other items. Oh all of the wait and bar staff around as we left said goodbye and thank you very warmly that was nice maybe they knew our wait person ran a little hot and cold?"
