"My daughter and I share a birthday. It's tonight. We reserved a table where you can cross your feet and have some privacy with your family. It was a Wednesday night, not busy. The staff is very nice. The food is always great. My wife and I decided on a Sushi boat. The sushi was good and fresh. We had mentioned to the waitress that it was our birthday. Before the check arrive, a platter with unbelievable delicious pineapple and orange wedges arrived at the table. Small touches of detail make a difference on the experience of the meal. Thank you to the waitress that made our Birthday a little extra special."

"I made the reservation and noted it was for my birthday. When we arrived and said our reservation was made on Open Table for Jacki, they took us right back. I know it usually takes a min for most restaurants to check and mark it that we came and it didn’t seem like they did that. When I checked my email, it stated I did not show up for my reservation. I checked the box that I did show up. We arrived at 8:05 for an 8 pm reservation. Since it was my birthday, I was bummed that our table wasn’t as nice as I would have expected for a special occasion. It was very dim lighting and I had to use my flashlight on my phone to read the menu. A candle on The table would have been nice. Other tables had candles, just not our section. My boyfriends drink had dish bubbles in it and we asked for a manager and she brought out a new one. We asked our server to bring an extra shot of Makers 46 and she never brought it. Everyone was friendly. Just a little disappointed with some minor details. I would go back to give it another try."

"I order from here all the time. The menu has a variety of things to order. I have never been disappointed by the quality and taste of the food. Everything on the menu has a very eye catching appearance. The staff are friendly and the delivery person is always very courteous. A+"

"Discovered El Jardin just a month ago, tip from my sister-in-law in Lathrop. We 've been there twice now. Their salsas and guacamole are great, and they have both flour and corn tortilla chips! Their wet Chili Verde burrito is good, and pork tamale had soft, delicious masa. I 'm still testing their food, but so far, I 'm very pleased. Service is good if not a bit too attentive; no one likes hovering wait staff. The booths are popular, so you may have to wait to get in. Enjoy!"

"We had an amazing sushi dinner in New York City. My girlfriend and I tried dishes like duck roti and soft shell crab karaage. Our sushi choices included wagyu, tuna, and avocado rolls, as well as a king crab roll - all were fantastic. To finish off the meal, we enjoyed the Red Dragon roll. Although we were too full for dessert, we were given a complimentary nigiri dish. If you're in the mood for quality sushi, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it."

"I strongly advise against dining here unless you are Indian, as it seems that the staff treats Indian patrons much better. Our experience with the service was quite disappointing! To start, we waited an incredible 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Although we ordered six meals, only one dish was served initially, and it came without the accompanying rice. After another 30 minutes, three more dishes finally appeared. My mother had ordered goat curry but was mistakenly served lamb curry instead, and we had to wait another 30 minutes for the last two dishes to arrive. By this time, the rest of our group had already finished their meals. We also found ourselves repeatedly requesting more water and ice, which took another 15 minutes to arrive. The food itself was nothing special—mediocre at best. When we received the bill, we discovered that we still hadn’t received the rice for the first dish, despite asking for it multiple times. To make matters worse, when we attempted to pay with a credit card, we were hit with a credit card fee. Additionally, there was an "Administration fee" included on the bill, which turned out to be a hidden gratuity that had already been added. They even had the nerve to include a separate tip section on the bill! This was our first and last visit to this restaurant."

"This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I wasn't impressed during either visit. On my first trip, I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito that was quite bland, though it was still edible. During my second visit, I tried the rolled tacos, which had very little beef. I questioned whether it was 100% beef since it wasn’t shredded and seemed very light. Additionally, the red salsa tasted more like a spicy pizza sauce rather than authentic salsa. Overall, I was not excited about this place. The prices are higher than average, and there’s an extra 50-cent fee for card payments. I believe there are better options for Mexican food elsewhere."

"this placenta is generally quite ok. it seems like they're a hit or miss on their food. one day it is very tasty, then the next day it is more salty than the atlantic. As long as you are stuck in the fried rice and other appetizers, you are ok, enticing yourself to your own salt risk."

"On to the positives: the ambiance was pleasant and the music was enjoyable. The snapper was on the smaller side, but the curry was rich and flavorful. The curry shark had a unique taste, and you could tell it was cooked just right with a slightly charred finish, keeping the pieces tender. Customer service was excellent; our server was very attentive despite clearly having multiple responsibilities. If you enjoy drinks, you'll be pleased with the full bar that offers a wide selection. Overall, a solid dining experience!"

"This was our first time to Diamonds and definitely will not be our last! We had the spinach artichoke dip and fried calamari for appetizers, both of which were amazing! I had the filet mignon tips and chicken skewers and my husband had the ribeye. The steak melts in your mouth and the zip sauce is delicious! All of the sides were great and our server was fantastic. By far one of the best steakhouses we have ever been to"

"We arrived an hour and a half before closing—not exactly early but certainly not right before the end of service. Still, the host and several waitstaff gathered at a booth near the kitchen entrance, chatting and watching over the dining room, which made us feel like we were being observed. On the bright side, one busboy was doing all the cleaning and he was wonderful. I will admit, the food was surprisingly great—I was genuinely impressed. I would consider dining here again, but I would definitely keep in mind that it feels more casual, like a diner."

"great place for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch (blt is a must). much needed social space in s. san jose gets his seasons with a huge selection from the tap (and now cocktails). eating is California progressiw a lot of regional fusion that provides a mix of stately taste. among my favorites are the poutins (with chorizo gravy,) a pumpkin seeds granola garnel, and a ceviche presented like no other ceviche I have ever seen. yes, the personal is attentive, friendly and liberal with sincere smiles."

"Such a fun way to end 2019. Came here for dinner on NYE in a group of seven before we went off to a NYE party at 8pm. There was a $75 pre fixe menu with an “amuse” course and appetizer, main dish, and dessert. We ordered some champagne as well although it also came with a complimentary glass. Our waiter Dan was awesome very attentive and polite. He also was helpful in sharing his opinions on the food and swayed half the table to get the prime rib for the entree over the scallops. There weren’t that many other parties in the room but it was a cute vibe; it could be a good date night spot or a birthday dinner hangout. The lamb on polenta on a little spoon was alright, the the Moroccan soup was hot (like temperature wise) but cozy, the prime rib was on point (I really liked the horseradish butter thing on the side, and say okay with the creamed spinach) and the chocolate tart was a decadent way to finish it all off. There is street parking although it’s a couple blocks down from Pershing square so you could park in that garage for $9. There is a large single use bathroom that could accommodate a wheelchair. They do take reservations and have vegetarian and vegan options. Overall it was a nice restaurant with good food and I’m glad that’s my last meal of 2019!"

"Good and friendly service. I had pancit bihon guisado which tasted good but was heavy on the noodles and short on the other ingredients. For the amount of noodles there needed to be more of the meats and whatever else goes in that dish.I also had a halo halo and it was great. I dined in and they served the halo halo in a clear plastic cup with a long plastic spoon. They told me they didn’t have any glass to serve it in and I had to ask twice for a metal spoon. I don’t like having to ask twice. I explained to them that the plastic spoon is uncomfortably sharp feeling in my mouth. A metal spoon has smoother and less sharp edges.I don’t really have a reason to visit this restaurant again."

"Wow! This place is what dining is like in older movies. Swanky, posh and phenomenal food. Just a wonderful experience! The drinks are crafted precisely. By that, I mean the bartender takes their time and does right. Well done. We went (unbeknownst to us) during Restaurant Week. So they had an added menu just for the occasion. The Texas Tenderbites (listed as an appetizer) were delicious and addictive. We wanted more but thankfully refrained. The Butternut Squash Soup was absolutely superb! You have to try it. Next was the Diane (steak). The rich smokey flavor was mouthwatering! I have to say, I couldn 't bear to use the sauce that came with it due to the flavor being so amazing. We capped it off with one chocolate cake and one key lime pie. They 're dessert, so they 're rich and filling. But good Lord were they incredible! The service was spot on. Tim was our server and was fantastic! One thing to mention is that there is parking in the back. But, the parking lot is very small and there 's only one way in and out. So you might want to be prepared to park elsewhere. Just a heads-up. This is a must visit! I hope this helps. Cheers!"

"Everything was great overall; however, the samosa wasn't really to my liking. There was nothing wrong with how it was prepared; it just wasn't my personal preference. The shrimp, on the other hand, was excellent—cooked perfectly. But that house-made chili oil is no joke. The dish didn’t mention anything about spice in the description, but it definitely had a kick, haha! The basmati rice was fantastic as well—perfectly cooked with a nice buttery flavor and no excess seasoning, with each grain separate. None of that sticky, gooey, sweet stuff that some places serve."

"The staff at this restaurant is extremely rude, and the manager is highly unprofessional. She even followed us out of the restaurant after we experienced racism. They denied me access to the bathroom simply because I'm Black, even though I was wearing a work vest. This is definitely not a suitable place for families or children. The employees are unfriendly and tense, lacking professionalism, and it seems they have a bias against Black individuals."

"My colleagues and I enjoyed the food but after spending $225 we were told the bill could only be split two ways. This is not posted on their website or their restaurant upon entering. This is 2019 and we only wanted to split three ways. There was no accommodation made or acknowledgement of their lack of customer service. In fact, we ordered bacon flight prominently posted on the restaurant entrance displaying four pieces to only get two. We let that go until the bill arrived. We were told we ordered the wrong bacon flight when there was only one on the menu. This is just representative of the lack of customer set. The restaurant was not that busy to be that I accommodating. #epicfail"
