"If I 'm being honest, the food was just ok. The rotisserie chicken with house rub was dry. They put way too much smoky flavoring into their collard greens. I 've never had collard greens in that way before and it was overbearing and annoying. It already had bacon in it. Why fix what ain 't broke? as the saying goes. The grits was outstanding, however, as usual. The (unsweetened) kiwi strawberry tea is just okay. It has a nice fragrance but don 't expect much extra in the way of flavor. The service was really nice and they clearly cared about our experience. Our server, Jordan, did everything right and was very helpful! The kitchen also agreed to an extra side of sliced cucumber for us to dip into the hummus appetizer. The hummus appetizer was fresh and delicious with lots of garlic. The duck empanadas appetizer was fine but considering how unhealthy it probably is, it wasn 't worth it. It tasted a lot like a Doritos Locos chalupa from Taco Bell , surprisingly! The atmosphere is great, though I 'm not sure why they were playing hardcore screaming rock at one point hahaha. It was a funny juxtaposition. I think the most impressive thing about this place is how consistent their service is even when they 're clearly very busy. We had no wait at all and great service. Also their menu is very diverse and I like that. Just maybe don 't get the white meat chicken. Opt for dark meat wherever possible."

"Upon arrival, there were quite a few people waiting to be seated. Still, it only took 10 minutes to be seated. My server was prompt and super inviting. His name was David and as he exclaimed, there are three David's at this location so he goes by Da'vidand he's from kenna-bruh (lol) Well, I ordered the sweet chili glazed rotisserie chicken. The description sounds like it's justtoo much going on but I enjoyed it. It came out looking n smelling good. It was also piping hot . My husband had rotisseriesteak. According to him it tasted just as good as it looked. And boy, did it look good! I've added interest to give you guys aview."

"This was our first time at CRs and we were dissapointed. When we arrived the person performing in the front room was very loud and we asked to be in the back part of the restaurant which the hostess nicely accommodated. Our server was okay but we had to remind him several times about things we ordered. Drinks came without the requested olives, dessert came without utensils, wine was delayed. The food was just okay. I had the short rib which tasted a little off), my friend had the chicken which she said was just okay. My husband had the veal chop which he said was good but not enough to justify the price. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they brought a piece of cake to one of the birthday people but not the other even though the hostess confirmed that there were 2 birthdays. I had split the creme brûlée with my husband so it was not a problem but it was just odd."

"This would have been except for one thing. Our server was some what slow to refill water and check on us. BEe gave him instead of our usual as he did everything correctly except for keeping us hydrated in very hot weather and not checking on how the food was until over minutes after it was served by someone else. The calamari appetizer was great as were the NY strip steaks we had as entrees. I loved the flavor of the garlic mashed potatoes and the grilled asparagus. There was a chocolate lava cake with ice cream meant to be shared by two that was excellent. We would consider it again for an excellent meal though it is pricy."

"To start with, the staff at the counter was very rude. They were impatient and unpleasant while taking our order. Additionally, the quality of the food was mediocre. You could easily purchase ingredients from the Publix in the same plaza and make a tastier and more cost-effective sandwich. Our bagel sandwiches were plain and unexciting, with very little bacon included. I would recommend a name change to something like "Outrageous Prices" or "Just Simple Bagels.""

"The crab legs were fantastic! The crab cakes were delicious, cooked to perfection with just the right texture. The sides of garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized plantains were also very tasty and offered generous portions. Our server, India, was incredibly helpful in guiding our choices and was attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere, with plenty of open seating available midweek. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are offered. I will definitely be coming back!"

"I ordered 2 bagels, one with tofu cream cheese and one with regular. When we opened them, it looked like the labels were switched. I asked at the register if they were sure they gave me the right one because I am allergic to dairy. They assured me, yes, it was tofu cream cheese. I was still feeling uneasy so I went to just pay for a new one where I could watch them make it and feel confident with what I was getting. The guy behind the counter argued with me why I would want to order a new one and refused to make a new one (even though I was going to pay for it! and vehemently assured me that he was correct. Well guess what, after I ate a quarter of the bagel, I was sure that they were WRONG. Thanks for making me sick Gramercy Bagels. I will never be back"

"I heard the owner (Joseph passed away a year ago. Disregard all previous reviews about his demeanor, he was obviously in pain. I went today, 18-boneless wings with spicy-sweet, Gochujang. Freshly made, I love to wait for quality food. Very tasty, bursting with flavor. I live in Hampton, you know I will be back. The food maintains the standard set by Joseph. He cleaned his deep fat fryers daily, fresh oil. There are some restaurants in Hampton Roads that don't do this. You will know with the first bite, burnt flavor, cross contamination from funky food. Shame on the other restaurants, BOO! Don't whine about their prices, cost of food is reflected in everybody's prices. Quality food, at a quality price, you get what you pay for here. Be kind to the ladies, smile, say yes ma'am, no ma'am. I see the heartache in their eyes, they miss Joseph dearly."

"What a fun place to go. It was my first time the bartender was super amazing both of them a gentleman and then another younger woman. They both welcomed me and made me feel like I belonged. They made conversation with me. We laughed we joked and I felt at home. The patio is a nice touch but the parking is kind of off key. All the way around this place is cool to go to. Come here!"

"Disappointed by new changes.Around a month ago, staff suddenly changed wholesale. Well folks, that rude woman you were all complaining about knew how to make a bagel sandwich. I 've ordered twice online since this new staff took over(new ownership? , and it 's been a real let down. I waited a few weeks between orders and it 's really no better. Any hot bagel sandwich is getting handled wrong, they 're incredibly greasy on the outside. The bagels should be cut by someone with clean hands. They 've also missed the instruction to toast the bagel on every bagel. The bagels have gotten a little larger, which is actually a negative, as it highlights how little egg and cheese they give you on an egg and cheese. One fewer slice of cheese.Overall, gonna have to go to joes. Very, very unfortunate. I 'll try again in a few months."

"I'm back with another review, this time of a poppy seed bagel with strawberry spread from Smith Street Bagel. They delivered a freshly baked, soft and crunchy New York style bagel with delicious spread. But the highlight was the friendly service from the two guys behind the counter. They not only recommended how to order my bagel, but also engaged in a friendly chat. 5 stars for the bagel and another 5 stars for the great customer service! Thank you, gentlemen. "This used to be out favorite spot! But the recent menu change isnt appetizing and a bit confusing, they've removed several items and added some verbiage to the menu saying there are limited substitutions and no alterations to the menu. That leaves only a few choices for vegetarians that aren't some quinoa or cauliflower rice type dish. Not all vegetarians want to eat that, sometimes we just want a falafel in a pita. The new menu only offers falafel in a bowl and according to the new (and now confusing) menu, a pita isn't really an option for falafel. My husband also wasnt able to find his usual dish on the menu and was equally baffled about the verbiage regarding substitutions and alterations. Sadly we left without ordering off the new menu. Luckily we found some great greek food in Layton. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"I dined here last night with a friend I'm visiting in Miami, who comes here often. The pizza is made from scratch, not frozen, and the toppings are fresh. I'm not usually a big pizza fan due to my job, but I gave it a try and ended up eating three slices of a six-slice pizza. I wish I had taken a photo! My friend always orders the Baja BBQ Chicken, and even though I'm not a BBQ person, I found it to be absolutely delicious! It's a small, family-run restaurant with limited seating, but the atmosphere is fantastic. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this place!"

"The food here is incredible, the store is consistently clean, and the aroma of the BBQ is captivating. The staff is always friendly! "Every time I visit this location, something goes wrong. I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt, recognizing that they may be understaffed and that it gets quite busy in the mornings. However, management should be aware of this and consider hiring extra staff for busy weekend mornings or find alternative solutions to manage the rush. I realized today that I was making an effort to be friendly and understanding, but no one reciprocated that attitude towards me, the paying customer. Instead, I left with a watered-down chocolate drink, a bagel with barely any cream cheese, and an ice-cold breakfast sandwich. I’m truly disappointed. I always try to support local restaurants in my area, but I doubt I will return to this particular Einstein's location again."
