"I 've been here twice with another person, once when it was crowded and another time when we were the only ones there. They have three specials this month (which were the same as last month 's... , and I tried all three. (Pictures are posted Service: I 've never seen the waiters talk that much. However, they 're always dressed nicely and professional in how they take orders and bring food out/away. They refill water regularly. Food speed: both times I 've gone, I thought the food took longer than it should have to come out. It seems that this is a popular place to order takeout, which would explain the delays. However, they may be understaffed in their kitchen. Who knows. Food price: I think even for Seattle and the quality of the food, this place is kind of expensive. Their main dishes are $12+ but the portions aren 't very big. They are filling though, especially if you get rice on the side (which is $2 for a bowl . Lunch/early dinner for 2 cost $40 for two main dishes, rice, and tea. They do have a slight lunch discount. However, their lunch times aren 't advertised and dinner starts as early as 3 PM. Food quality: the presentation and somewhat small sizes of dishes for the price really does make you think this is 'fine dining ' as they advertise. The tastiness of the food is probably the strongest point at this place. I don 't eat much Thai food, but I haven 't had anything I didn 't like here. It 's all tasty. Ambience: lighting is warm but not super bright and there are a lot of window seats. There is no outdoor seating. The interior decorations are tasteful and rather sparse, but they do have a small side room for parties, I 'm guessing, and a centerpiece Thai deity(? statue. It 's a cool place. Food rec: pad prik king is the best if you like Szechuan peppercorn (which is definitely present in the dish but not overpowering . The avocado curry and som thai gai-yang are also very good!"

"I'm not a big fan of curry, but my family was having a gathering at The Kathmandu and so I went anyway. I'm happy to report that there were plenty of very tasty dishes which were not curry! Furthermore, the service was terrific, the food was all very good. It is a very nice restaurant and a great place to have a meal, with great ambiance. All the servers work very hard. One thing I really liked was they seem to work extra hard to keep the tables very clean and you feel like they make the extra effort to make certain every table is sort of like being used for the first time (spotless glass tabletop, shiny spotless plates, etc. . I really appreciate that level of cleanliness and efficiency. I'll go again sometime!"

"Hard to fond a place like this anywhere in NW Wis. Mostly what you find is basic bar food. Not so here. Casual but great food for a dining experience. White linen table cloths and napkins. Okay wine list. Good service staff. A che who cares what puts on the table. Reasonable prices. Worth experiencing."

"First-timers and LOVED it. We are sushi snobs (in a good way) and rate this top-notch. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. We even ordered a custom roll and they nailed it! Our server was fast and very friendly. Loved the background jazz music too—cool decor with lots of TVs and a nice bar. We will totally be back!"

Very good prices and good flavors. My favorite is goat curry korma, but everything here is delicious and the service is amazing."

"Do the Du. I was a huge fan of The Kathmandu I so when they opened this location downtown I got very excited. The food is identical in both locations so pick whichever one is closest to you and go! Ill paste my review of The Kathmandu I here because it all applies This is my favorite affordable restaurant in SLC. I could write a book on this place because I have been going for years. By far the best value is their $10 lunch buffet which has flavor changes daily so you will never get bored. Dinner service is a little slow at times, but that's because they make everything from scratch and its worth the wait. The staff has little turnover, so they greet me by name and always make me feel...read more"

"Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet at this restaurant for $12.77 including tax. The food is tasty, the setting is relaxed, and the restrooms are clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating, making it a great choice for solo diners or large groups. There is also a private glass walled area for groups. The buffet offers at least 6 main entrees, various side dishes, salad, and rice and mango puddings for dessert. Don't be misled by claims of limited choices, as there is plenty to choose from. Let's support local businesses that have been struggling during the pandemic."

"The estimated pick-up time was 25 minutes, but it actually took 45. It seemed like they hadn't even started on my order until I arrived. There were no utensils in the bag, but fortunately, my hotel had some. I received a pound of vegetables with barely any meat, and the dish was bland and diluted—completely lacking in flavor. And no rice? It's hard to believe that an entrée would be served without it. The only highlight of the meal was the Crab Rangoons. Overall, I’m baffled as to how this meal cost $65; it feels like a complete joke."

"Wow. Now this is absolutely the best Indian food I've ever had. I went with my friend and let me tell you we were starving. As soon as we went into the place you could just smell all of the goodness. We were greeted at the door by a very lovely woman and she recommended the butter chicken. My friend Dan had one of those rice bowls. Excellent customer service and it was a very nice ambience. Now let's get to the food that butter chicken was some succulent flavorful and it wasn't too creamy. The blend was just right sometimes when they use all of those creams and yogurts and all that it can change the flavor too much but this was the perfect for me. I don't know how they made this dish, but they had the right combinations for the delicious creations. I look forward to going back. Oh, before I forget, the Garlic Nann was really phenomenal. We have the spicy one I wish I'd had two orders! I can eat that all day with the sauce."

"I recently spent $130 on a meal at this restaurant and had a frustrating experience. It took half an hour to place my order, as the woman taking my order kept me waiting while she attended to other matters. After I paid, she informed me that it would be another 35 minutes until my food was ready. I waited almost an hour in the parking lot before receiving my order. When I checked my food in the car, I realized that my sweet and sour shrimp was missing. I called the restaurant and the same woman insisted that I had actually ordered chicken, which was not true. She argued that the sweet and sour shrimp was in my order, but I knew it was missing. I did not receive all of the items I paid for, and the portion size was disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning."

"we stole from lemongrass thai yesterday. we have the noodles, fresh spring rolls and red Thai curry. each article was tasteful on request, spice level and changed as desired! the portions are generous and the content is high quality and fresh. the noodle dish was cooked to perfection. the red curry was creamy and extremely tasteful. one we noticed was less choice of veggies. Typically, I see more mushrooms, more broccoli..We are glad that we tried to rush out of lemongrass. Now we know that we have a solid Thai option in beautiful livermore."

"This restaurant introduced me to Americanized Chinese food, which I initially thought was authentic Chinese cuisine. However, I later learned that I was mistaken, but it's still delicious! My parents always ordered chicken wings and fried rice, but I eventually branched out and found that their General Tso's chicken is the best. It is fried until crispy and then coated in a sweet and spicy glaze. I recommend getting the dinner combo, which includes your choice of fried rice or lo mein for a small additional cost, as well as a spring roll. Be sure to ask for extra duck sauce, as it pairs perfectly with their spring rolls. I enjoy dining in at this restaurant, but the sit-in area is rarely used. Overall, I love this place and whenever I am in Providence and craving Chinese food, I always make a stop for some takeout."

"The butter chicken was absolutely delicious, and the vegetable coconut korma was tasty too. This restaurant is less crowded than other Indian places in town, yet it stands out as one of the best. Just a heads up: the Level 1 spice level felt more like a 7 out of 10. It was pretty spicy, but some members of our group really enjoyed it. The mango lassi is excellent, and the portion size is generous. The appetizers exceeded my expectations. It's a great spot for take-out, and the leftovers are always among my favorites."

"This is a family run restaurant. They have a passion for turning people on to good Indian food from all areas of India. I've eaten in many Indian restaurants from NYC to SF over the last 50 years and I can say that their food is authentic and yummy! Though they are new to the restaurant biz they have a passion and enjoy being of service. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices. Please visit and support the family!"

"I am typically not a huge fan of Thai cuisine, but my wife loves it so I went with her to keep her company. I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh and flavorful dishes at this restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the mango salad with prawns. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. I have actually been back twice since then."

"I've been visiting this family-owned restaurant for a while now and realized I haven't written a review yet. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. I recommend enjoying the dishes as soon as they’re served since everything is made fresh. The orange chicken is simply the best, and the fried rice is unbeatable! I'm also a big fan of the cream cheese wontons. Every time I visit, I order the wonton soup, which is incomparable. I highly recommend this place!"

"The staff did not have a plan to accommodate parties with reservations and had many people wait at the door for over an hour. The meal service took another to receive the food after ordering.Almost had to take our glasses to the bar for more water. They should add more waiters in order to offset these situations"
