"We were there for brunch the service was excellent and the food was divine. Best **** Mary I have ever had (and I've had them all over NYC and New England) We started with the pastry board which was delicious. The goat cheese omelette melted in my mouth and was paired with grilled asparagus that was perfection. Between all the members of our party we tried all the entrees and all were excellent. And desserts to die for!! A most wonderful and amazing meal!"

"This is our third time dining at Wildwood Restaurant. Our first two times we were less than impressed. This time around we went at the request of some friends we were dining with and figured we’d give it another shot. Sadly this was strike three for us. I ordered the duck which tasted awful. A friend of ours ordered the hanger steak and after he expressed he didn’t like it I gave it a taste myself. I honestly thought the meat had gone bad and they decided to cook it up anyways, it tasted that terrible. To make matters worse our server was less than pleasant, seemingly agitated about something throughout the entire night. I typically leave good reviews but after three failed attempts at providing a decent meal and an overall good dining experience I felt it necessary to say something. Sorry Wildwood but you’ve lost my patronage."

"Down in the heart of the city, there are many upscale dining choices for non vegetarians. What is a veg*n to do? Thankfully, there are some choices that help out the hungry veg*n looking for a haute cuisine experience DC style. This is an excellent venue when you are trying to impress someone for business, romance, family or otherwise. The decor is very red, and the theme is very Spanish. The staff is incredible and attentive. So, veg*ns, here's what you do: ask for the vegetarian menu! If you don't, you will sulk and be sad, and stare at the menu of what you cannot have. Also, if you are very sensitive, you may still want to avoid this place, as they have mussels and meat, seafood and the like. If you can get past that and encourage your fellow diners to share in some vegan tapas, all the better! They have a lengthy 2 page vegetarian menu, with plenty of vegan choices. If you're unsure, ask your waiter the kitchen can make some of the veg items vegan, but many already are. For those interested, they have a sommelier to suggest excellent wine choices with your meal. Good food choices include asparagus, peppers, spinach, paella and fresh fruit for dessert. However, I felt like eating here was more about the experience. The food is fresh and flavorful with incredible attention to plating and details, as the price tag would dictate, but it was the whole experience that made this exceptional."

"Not sure where to start on this review, overall it was a disappointing experience. We were super excited to have afternoon tea, my daughter wants to go to England on our next trip. Let's start with the tea: we chose earl gray, black with peach and peppermint. The best was the earl gray however they refill your tea (add water to the pot) and none of the teas even got half the flavor as the first round. One thing I am going to disagree with on most other reviews is theluxury upgrade was worth it, the sliders were amazing. The rest of the snacks were overall a let down. The sandwiches were smoked salmon and ham/cheese and the bread was quite dry especially towards the edges. It would have been great tostart with a lighter, fresher sandwich (cucumber for example) as overall the food was heavy. The scones were good but nothing special. The pastries were the best of the experience but none that I would make a trip over for. Lots ofpotential but not worth the cost."

"I am so happy I found this amazing Italian restaurant combined with the most incredible deli! I understand why they've been here for over 40 years. her pizza was one of the best I ever had and I had a lot of pizza in the style of new york. the owner makes his own marinara sauce, which is just so tasteful and tasty! my man and I last weekend got the veggie delight pizza with gourmet cheese, mushrooms, black olives, artichoke hearts, green pfeffer, wobble, fresh garlic, and their homemade sauce. 10/10 yesterday I tried her lasagna and I was so happy. the portion size is simply perfect and the price points are so reasonable! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves high quality food and wants a stuffed goods!"

"Our experience at Barcelona Restaurant and Bar was nothing short of perfection. Everything from the food (which is phenomenal) to the ambience was on point. The servers and management team was very professional and friendly. We would HIGHLY recommend Barcelona Restaurant and Bar. You won't be disappointed."

"Calamari was all tube, no tentacle and the crunch or crisponess left something to be desired. Oysters were worthy of the namesake though. Juicy with good brine. Price os outlandish at 4-5$ per oyster, but you should probably expect that for being in Grand Central Terminal. Service was pretty slow, (an hour from seating to check ,ordered all at once and check requested at order for 2 apps and a beer) but I'm still giving 3 stars because it was the Friday before Christmas. TLDR: Pricey because of location, but solid enough seafood to almost justify it."

"We so looked forward to trying this place their website states that they are open for dinner starting at 5 pm! Well here we sit this uptown cafe isnt open at all! How lazy do you have to be to not alert the dining public that your operation is closed, has changed its hours/days open, etc? I doubt we will give them another opportunity after this incompetent failure."

"This restaurant is fantastic—it's so much more than just a café! Almost the entire menu is gluten-free, and their gluten-free pizza is exceptional. The carrot ginger soup is incredible, and the pasta with stir-fried vegetables, including portobello mushrooms and baby spinach, is delightful. The chef is accommodating and prepares dishes to your liking, and he truly knows how to cook!"

"It’s a pity how poor the service is. It seems none of the staff were trained. We were seated on time for our reservation but then no one came over to the table for about 15 min. The bread and oil were very tasty. A majority of our table tried the prefix menu and were surprised at the serving sizes. For 3 courses there was way too much food and it was such a waste! The food was just ok, my husband does not recommend the patatas bravas and the paella was mediocre at best. The worst part of our experience was that none of the plates from the first course were cleared before the second course came out and they began to auction the dishes to us. We had to collect our own plates and move them to the next table to make room. One of the servers also spilt soup on one of the guests in our party and they hardly apologized, nor did they offer a towel to clean it up. I would not go back and I do not recommend at all. "Nello Restaurant is Delicious Cool. Nello Restaurant on Madison Avenue in NYC is located in the heart of the world's best shopping district. It is across from Hermes. The people watching from the sidewalk cafe is out of this world as is the views from inside the elegantly decorated decor. I had the lobater ravioli which as heaven. The lobster was so fresh and there was so much of it! My boyfriend had the sea bass (we love fish). For the appetizer we shared the chicken liver dish which was a meal in and of itself. We sipped on Bellini's and enjoyed the cool vibe of the restaurant. People were beautifully dressed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The music was cool. The waiter was knowledgable and friendly. The drinks were heavy handed pours. We dined and lingered and laughed and let satisfied. The owner, Nello Balan, introduced himself and check in on us to make sure everything was ok. He was friendly and well spoken. We loved our meal. We would definately go back!"

"I would not at all recommend Wilfrid`s for their buffet brunch. While the cold buffet offers a few higher end choices, such as cold prawns, smoked salmon and fresh lettuce with its accoutrements, the mixed salads are nondescript and loaded with objectionable ingredients. The hot buffet is unimaginative, limited and in my experience at least, always dried up, unappetizing and overcooked, even when the buffet opens. Half empty selections are neither rearranged nor removed, there is a preponderance of either cheap cuts of beef, pork and other dishes which do not cater to traditional food restrictions, the fish is overdone and over spiced, and the so-called chef behind the counter is defensive and unhelpful. It is not possible to order an egg done the way you like it, the fresh fruit is tasteless and not ripe, there is no fresh squeezed juice or even semblance thereof, and the dessert table is uninspiring. On the positive front, the atmosphere is pleasant, though the chairs are so heavy that even a prize fighter would have trouble moving them in and out from the table. Depending on which server is assigned to your table, the service can be friendly, but even that is inconsistent, as the staff usually does not attend to the guests as they should, probably because it is a buffet. In short, use your hard earned dollars for an à la carte brunch somewhere else and possibly try this place for a drink and a snack."

"Such a magical experience, went for dinner for our 2nd anniversary. My now fiancé proposed at dinner and I’d just like to thank everyone who helped him make it possible. The dinner itself was delicious and the service was amazing from the hostess to our server to everyone else who attended us. Thank you so much for the magical memories. We will be back again for sure!!"

"Pasta Vita has become a staple for us during Covid the portions are very generous, tasty, and easy to heat up. We keep a few meals from Pasta Vita on hand each week in the fridge to make our lives easier and we always look forward to them. We are big fans of the eggplant and chicken parms, the garlic bread, the fresh pasta and even have enjoyed several of their fish and curry options. Could not recommend more!"

"Don't expect a large and spacious restaurant; instead, you'll find a cozy and warmly decorated two-room establishment that's very well furnished. Each room has its own unique character, with different chairs at every table and distinctive silverware on display. The walls are adorned with beautiful French artworks, and the main room features some stunning murals. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. There's also a good selection of wines and cocktails. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there, and from the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with a cheerful "Happy Anniversary!" They even offered to take a picture of us and concluded our meal by gifting us a complimentary dessert. It was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely return. The only reason for the four-star rating was that we noticed some food and drink stains on the walls and a few flies by the window, which could use some attention."

"Ah, La Mer Seafood Market in Armonk, NY, where good times and seafood come together like old friends. This marked a long overdue first visit to this little gem to which I have learned it has been serving fresh seafood to the Upper Westchester scene for nearly half a century. But here's the kicker – fresh seafood never gets old, and neither does the charm of La Mer. Now, when you're friends with a guy like Chef Sean Wiener, you know you're in for something special. Sean's the maestro behind the scenes, and he's been around the culinary block. He's not just cookin' up dishes; he's weaving together coastal seafood classics, a touch of Jewish soul, and a pinch of those exotic Asian flavors he picked up on his travels. But what really makes La Mer stand out is the family vibe. When you walk through that door, you're not just a customer; you're part of their extended family. They'll greet you like an old buddy they haven't seen in ages and, trust me, they can't wait to serve you up some goodness. In a world where trends come and go faster than last night's dreams, La Mer is a timeless classic. It's where tradition shakes hands with innovation. So, if you find yourself anywhere near Armonk, you've got a date with La Mer Seafood Market. Get ready for a warm welcome, a belly full of heaven, and a reminder that fresh seafood is always in style – just like good friendships."
