"Tonight I tried Fusion Sushi located on PCH in Torrance. Despite my initial disappointment in the diameter size of my Sushi Rolls ? I realized that I should put aside my negativities and dive in. The food tasted absolutely amazing. Instead of six slices of sushi I was surprised to see there was actually eight slices. I purchased the Shrimp Roll ? that was pretty good and a Lobster Roll which I strongly recommend as it was bursting with flavor.However, I could not tell if it was Lobster or miniature Shrimps in place of it, lol. ?As for my drink, I think they could have given a more generous size of their yummy raspberry iced tea as it wasn't very big.Price was fairly reasonable and comparative to how delicious the meal was. My dinner tonight was fantastic and I'm most definitely going to return.4 Stars from me. If you're looking for a great local sushi spot and haven't stopped in yet, then you have to try them. "The service was friendly and attentive. Portions big and sushi rolls were great! There was confusion between servers on who was serving our table, so there was a minor delay on taking our order. They brought us a yummy appetizer as an apology and we thought that was above and beyond what they needed to do. My friend spilled her soup and they helped clean up and brought another soup for her. Will definitely come back!"

"I tried the teriyaki salmon bento box, priced at just $9.25 (what a deal for salmon!), which included shrimp shumai and edamame. Instead of rice, I chose to get extra salad, but I was a bit disappointed as it was only a small handful of leaves. That’s my only criticism; I think they could have been more generous with the salad since it replaced the rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor. The shumai was delicious, accompanied by soy sauce for dipping. The salad, while decent, was tasty and dressed with a refreshing citrusy dressing, though the edamame was average and could have used some seasoning. Overall, I found it to be a good value with straightforward, satisfying food."

"Maru Sushi is on Powell Street, along the Powell-Hyde cable car line on the south side of Nob Hill, just a few blocks up from Union Square. It is a modest and pleasant-looking restaurant, with friendly service and excellent sushi. We had a California roll and a Spicy Tuna Roll on the lunch special $16), and the Swamp $16.50), which despite its unappetizing name was very tasty. Many other items are available. A cup of Jasmine tea was a bit steep at $4 a pot of loose tea for two would have been more economical). Overall it was a good lunch experience."

"I am a Seattle native but living in San Diego now, I miss and LOVE umi sushi! "I do recommend this place, but it’s strictly for sushi lovers. We had a party of ten, and two guests weren’t into sushi. We asked for something simple like chicken teriyaki and rice, but the five small pieces of chicken on the skewers were so tough and overcooked that we couldn't even get them off the stick. As a result, those two ended up just eating a bowl of rice, and we had to stop at a fast food drive-thru on the way home. Additionally, the nigiri sushi is priced for only one piece instead of two, which is quite unusual and makes it feel expensive."

"Oh my gosh, I loved this so much that I ordered it three times in one week! I've had mixed experiences with delivery sushi in the past, but this place is incredible! The fish is unbelievably fresh, and the rice is just right. The Candy Cane Roll has become my new favorite dish. "What a fantastic restaurant! The food was excellent! I ordered the two-item bento box with teriyaki chicken and an avocado roll. The teriyaki sauce was just right—slightly tangy, sweet, and well-seasoned. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The salad was fresh and accompanied by a delicious balsamic vinaigrette. The miso soup wasn’t overly salty like some can be. The avocado roll was also fresh, and the Hawaiian roll with spicy tuna and avocado was delightful! The atmosphere was lovely, with a pleasant vibe. There was ample seating, and it wasn’t too crowded, allowing for a sense of safety and privacy between tables. The service was decent, though our waitress was a bit slow. She was very friendly and had been working there for a year, so she wasn’t inexperienced. Despite being nice and accommodating, we did have to ask for water refills several times. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return. We highly recommend this place!"

"Out of most of the sushi restaurants in Brooklyn this one is one of my favorites . The staff is always really sweet and on top of things. The ambiance is also really nice . I personally think their food alwaysss tastes fresh and flavorful. It's one of those spots in my neighborhood that if I'm going to get sushi it would most likely be there. "If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! My husband is a vegetarian, and I have strict medical instructions to reduce my sugar and simple starch intake. Bistro Chen offers a fantastic variety of tofu dishes, and they even provide brown rice upon request for their sushi items. Their Dim Sum is the best in the suburbs! We especially love their Chinese broccoli, which can be steamed or stir-fried based on your preference. It is always incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The stir-fried baby bok choy is also highly recommended. If you're in the know, make sure to try the Ong Choy when it’s available. This water hyacinth might sound exotic, but there’s no need to be intimidated. Its flavor is a delightful blend between kale and spinach, and it's simply stir-fried with a hint of garlic for the perfect taste. Another must-try vegetable is the Sichuan green beans. The chef skillfully incorporates Sichuan peppercorns along with red chilies, garlic, and other ingredients, creating a depth of flavor that enhances the crisp-tender string beans. We’ve become so addicted to them that we order this dish every time we visit. Additionally, their sushi is incredibly fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly balanced between rice and fish. "I visited this restaurant on a Friday night with two friends for the all-you-can-eat sushi. We were initially offered a corner booth by the hostess, but upon sitting down, we found water and crumbs on the seat and ground. We decided to move to the adjacent table instead. Shortly after placing our order, we overheard a departing party at the table next to us murmuring about spotting a mouse in the restaurant. I didn't think much of it at first, but just before our food arrived, I saw a baby mouse hopping around on the ground, eating leftovers at the table we initially sat at. I pointed this out to the waitress, who clearly saw the mouse as well since she was standing right next to me, sharing the same line of vision. Shockingly, no action was taken. The restaurant staff pretended nothing had happened and, to our disbelief, even set up a mahjong table to enjoy after closing. To make things even worse, they automatically added a 20% tip to our bill for a party of three. This experience was absolutely appalling and ridiculous to say the least."

"Small little place in Woodland Hills ca. ambiance was really nothing to talk about. But if your in the hood really good solid sushi. I eat sushi everywhere and this had over a thousand reviews. Started with some great sake and Japanese beers. Edamame with spicy garlic and jalepeno kind of fried app. Also ordered 6 or 7 rolls. Loved the no rice rolls. Trying to stay low or no carbs. "This is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. My favorite lunch is the appetizer sampler with 3 gyoza fried dumpling , 3 harumaki crunchy spring roll , and spicy rock shrimp. Makes the perfect lunch. My hubby and I have visited a few times and the dragon roll, salmon roll and Philly roll are his tops for sushi. "We ordered a volcano roll, which was incredibly hot, spicy, and delicious. In another picture with three rolls, the Redlands roll is on top, followed by the crunchy dragon roll in the middle, and the fusion roll on the bottom, along with some close-up shots. We also tried two pieces of hamachi (yellowtail) sushi and tamago (sweet egg) sushi, which were both delightful. The hamachi was wonderfully tender and practically melted in my mouth — simply divine. Overall, I give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it!"

"The California rolls were standard—nothing exceptional—and the kani salad was underwhelming, as it had more cucumbers than imitation crab meat. When it was time for dinner, we moved to a spacious booth. We started with a special of the day: tofu topped with spicy salmon. I must admit I overlooked the salmon detail on the menu, expecting something like agedashi tofu, but the salmon was a pleasant surprise. For our main courses, I decided to branch out from my usual sushi rolls. Sometimes, you just crave some good Americanized sushi with all sorts of unique flavors and sauces. I ordered the Dynamite Roll ($17) featuring wild blue crab and avocado topped with seared spicy scallops, crunch, and fried vermicelli, as well as the Harajuku Roll ($15) with salmon, mango, cucumber, spicy salmon on top, crunchy flakes, scallion, and mango caviar sauce to share. The first piece of the Dynamite Roll tasted a bit off—perhaps it was the sauce? However, the more I ate, the more I enjoyed it. I would definitely order it again. The Harajuku Roll was quite good, but I preferred the Dynamite Roll. Just to ensure we had enough food, we added a duck ramen to our order. The duck and broth were surprisingly good, but the noodles were soggy and had an instant noodle quality to them. I wouldn’t recommend the ramen. Service here was fantastic! The staff was very attentive and even gave us a 10-minute warning before happy hour ended. Since it was my aunt's birthday, they kindly brought out some complimentary mochi ice cream. I will absolutely return for the fried chicken sliders (I can only imagine their chicken karaage is equally good) and to try more of their rolls."

"Out of the five years I lived off Western Center exit, I never gave MK?s Sushi a try. Yes, I passed it quite a few times but it is tucked behind Racetrac and Smoothie King in the strip mall so I never made the stop. Tonight we decided to double date with our neighbor as a family night! Their kiddos have never eaten sushi rolls, so why not? Parking is a bit limited, thankfully some vehicles had just pulled out so we had some spaces. Once we entered, we were seated immediately. My husband rated this a 3.5, mostly for the great service; however, he said his sesame chicken wasn?t the best. He said it wasn?t hot nor cold, and the flavor wasn?t there for him. He still prefers Wabi Sabi across the street. That being said he didn?t try ANY of the sushi which is the reason I rated much higher. I ordered the crunch roll, Heart Attack, and a California roll for my daughter and I to share. All of which were AMAZING, I stuffed myself which is bad I know. But I didn?t want to stop eating! My daughter was obsessed with the California roll and we ended up ordering a plate to-go. The sushi line took the longest to receive, but everything else we ordered arrived quickly. Here is my advice: if you are looking for sushi, this is your place! If you?re looking for orange chicken or sesame chicken, go to Wabi across the street or even Panda Express down Beach Street(if you?re looking for cheap . I saw BULGOGI on the menu, I would be interested if it tasted good here. Perhaps try that and write a review so I can read it : Great service and great sushi, end of story!"
