"An eclectic Russian Georgian restaurant with delicious, hearty food. When we entered, the hostess asked us if we had “called ahead,” but of course we hadn’t, it was Sunday night and there were perahps ten empty tables. She then proceeded to seat us anyway. Apparently it is a running joke because she also asked other entrants the same thing. They seem to want to make the Gerogian sampler a lot, but the regular appetizers are better. The menu looks big, but it is really quite good. There are a lot of hearty entrees, and they are good to share family style. They use spices well, but it isn’t hot spicy. Russian food has lots of stews, and dumplings, and thick sauces. They also have some Russian beer that is quite good."
