"We hadn't visited Pieology in a while, so we decided to give it another shot. We ordered the Margherita and a combination pizza on thin crust. I added paprika, jalapeños, and garlic to the dough. We were pleasantly surprised by how great they looked, but the real test was how they tasted. Let me tell you, the thin crust was definitely the way to go. It was crunchy with the first bite and delicious with all the toppings. I noticed that Pieology didn’t overload on the sauce, which was perfect for balancing the fillings, cheese, and sauce. Normally, we don’t finish our pizzas and save some for later, but today we enjoyed every last bite. It looks like we'll be coming back! Great job, Pieology. Thank you!"

"At the last minute as in when a half-dozen or so of us were already at Mountain Mike's some bumblehead in our Tuesday evening dinner group switched this week's get together from Mountain Mike's to Pieology. Gawd, what a gruesome experience! Glum service, barely visible toppings, WAAAAY overpriced. $34.95 for two pizzas and one soft drink. Very noisy atmosphere--not happy noise--just raised voices and clattering. Sounds that you hear in a disaster movie by people trying to escape. Does anyone over 20 work in this place? Just a really amateurish attempt to create a kewl pizza venue. Neighbours tell me that there's a lot of staff turn over. Maybe all the noise was from that--the staff turning over!"

They automatically split a pizza for you if you order a half-and-half, which makes sharing really easy. "My family and I usually order from this Pieology often when we crave pizza and need it to fit our dietary needs, and especially when we 're too tired to cook. Today was one of those days. It 's been a tough weekend/week and I nicknamed my pizza tired and sad as a quick outlet. I wasn 't expecting anything, but when I received my family 's pizza... they kept the nicknames for everyone 's pizza, and changed mine to energized and happy . That simple action was enough to help me smile today. The food industry and customer service is often tough for employees, and exchanges between worker and clientele can sometimes be toxic. "I visited this restaurant two months ago and was disappointed to find that they did not offer vegan cheese. However, after speaking with the manager, they were accommodating and allowed me to use my own cheese. Before visiting again in hopes of a vegan cheese pizza, I recommend calling ahead to inquire if they have started offering it. On the other hand, Blast Pizza in Clovis does offer vegan cheese and has a similar restaurant atmosphere. The staff at this restaurant was very friendly. I will definitely return once they start offering vegan cheese."

There is an extra charge of $1 for vegan cheese and $1 per ounce for vegan meat substitutes. Since each vegan meatball weighs an ounce, it costs $1 for each one. We absolutely love the vegan choices, but the service was a bit slow. There were also some issues with the service team, such as running out of pesto sauce, which needed to be refilled. Unfortunately, the person responsible for the refill was the same person who took our order, causing delays for all the waiting customers and the next team member. The logistics definitely need some improvement. Despite the slow service, we really enjoyed our meal."

"Update: Pieology leadership reached out and made this situation right. Solid effort. We ordered 2 custom pizzas. The pizza with pie rise crust (under Gary) was missing basil, artichoke, oregano, and Parmesan, so we had tomatoes, spinach, and onions that were lightly sprinkled in the middle. We were not shown the pizza prior to leaving and the team was dismissive at best but it was getting late and we wanted to get home. We realized the error, called to explain, and were told, and I quote, “The right portions were used, I know they were made correctly. What do you want me to do about it?” Well, stop talking to you apparently… This is ridiculous. This location used to be awesome."

"I went there Valentines night and Jacob was there by himself as everyone had called out or they were expecting it to be slow. Despite the fact that there was a long line because he was there by himself, (which I don’t understand) the wait time was short! I think the manager should have stepped up and came into work instead of leaving his employee to do all the work on his own. Jacob was also answering phone calls while managing the line and running to the back for supplies. His attitude was great and he was so friendly and proficient in his job! "Let me start by saying I love their food and miss the wings they use to have but I have to drop a 1 star because lately the service has been not great. Missed orders, mixed up with someone else's, unorganized, always looking through every box to see who's is who's order, and lastly the some of the staff looks like they are trying but overall the rest of the staff look sad or unmotivated. I feel like their entire process needs an overhaul and the staff either need a raise or boost of moral."

"Nice Vegan Pizza option. I really like that they have vegan cheese and vegan meat analogues. But I'm not happy it's $3.00 for a little pizza. $11.95 Vegan Fire Grilled Chicken Thin Crust: Sub vegan cheese and vegan chicken. If you order the thick crust, it's an extra $1.50. I really enjoyed the thin crust and think it could not be enough taste for a thick crust. I recommend sprinkling garlic with olive oil and herbs or or oregano above. $2.19 Cucumber Mint Lemonade: Really surprised with this taste. I am not someone who usually likes these kinds of unique flavored drinks. They also have other flavors, but that was by far my favorite. The lady who took my order was not very familiar with veganism nor was she friendly. I asked to add the garlic with olive oil, and she asked if I should add only garlic instead of the red sauce (this pizza has no red sauce). Then she said they could do a garlic herbal butter and I remembered her butter has milk and is not vegan. It seemed like a lot of back and forth to simply add garlic to the base with the olive oil and sprinkled oregano up to increase the taste. We always ask for this at pizza places and normally it is not a problem. *It looks like they have a butter alternative (unsafe if vegan) maybe that's what the employee tried to explain. *We also called to place an order and we are suspended at 3 times in a row. The deer would answer and hang up immediately. 'The Pizza Joint ' has friendly staff, more knowledgeable staff in relation to veganism and their menu, more sizes, wearing diaya cheese, but they only wear a vegan meat analogue (soyrizo). Either place seems to have nice vegan options, depending on what you are looking for. I checked the pizza crust online and it has neither the thin or thick crust egg or milk. The cauliflower crust has egg, the wheat has honey and I think the gluten-free also has egg. It had a really nice taste. The ignorance of menu and veganism made me a little tired and I checked my order a few times. Hopefully they train their employees better in the future or maybe today was a free day. Online ordering is not beneficial, the 'Koch Inspired Pizzas'. There is no place for substitutions. If you have created a custom pizza like their inspired pizzas, I'm not sure if the price would be the same. We found it best. Vegan Options: Let almost any pizza and salad be made vegan on the menu. Vegan Cheese: Diaya Vegan Plant Protiens: Beef Meatballs, Chicken Chunks, Spicy Italian Sausage"

"That was my first time in Pieology and me? The place has a fresh mood. I like the design and all the quotes on the wall (and on the cups and paper. It seems that the company had thought a lot. They have a lot of healthy options (gluten-free and cauliflower crust, pesto sauce, etc. and the ingredients are fresh and qualitative. I had no pizza for a while because most options are not so healthy. But I enjoy it, so it is good to know that there are places with healthy (and customizable versions. With all options, it can be easy to be overwhelmed. Luckily, they have to choose pictures of a handful of their more popular pizza (for those of us who do not feel to make a number of decisions. The staff were great. I like my pizza crust crispy, and they made sure that they cook it right, so it was crispy, but not burned. Thanks for everything and me?"

"The pizza crust is excellent but it goes downhill from there. Starting with the server asking me if I wanted something unintelligible on it while gesturing to indeterminate sauces...repeatedly. I finally picked up olive oil (the alternatives were...butter?? and was able to move on. A couple of the toppings sitting out in the open air were well past their prime, goat cheese and salami, though still edible. For a less frequented store like this, setting out smaller ingredient piles would be intelligent. After I paid, I was never able to get the attention of the two workers again, who mostly hung out in the back storage area. Fortunately, I found the red pepper and to go boxes and helped myself. I 've only eaten at Pieology once before, a decade ago, and thought it was tasty. That was a bustling store adjacent to a busy mall so maybe choose another branch."
