"Our first disappointment began when they told us that the belly-dancing entertainment had been cancelled for the day. We arrived to a rather empty restaurant on a Friday night, which we attributed to the rain. Our entree of spinach pastries arrived lukewarm very lacklustre. We were recommended the Mixed Grill, that was just ok. The Lamb Couscous came next, it was a real bummer to find only 4 miniscule cubes of lamb under extremely large chunks of overcooked zucchini carrots. Unsatisfied by dinner, we ordered coffee their only dessert available, baklava. We were very delighted that the turkish coffee was wonderfully fragrant with cardamom, their baklava was a perfect size for 2 to share, was warm crisp, just lovely with the bitter coffee. Might come again for the coffee baklava if we’re in the area, but only after we’ve had dinner somewhere else."
