"Ollie, is by far the best bartender and most consistent of the staff we have encountered. Many of the other bartenders make the same margaritas very differently. Then get an attitude when you asked for “no salt” and they didn’t listen. My wife mentioned no salt twice when ordering our Margs and then stated a time “ it’s very important, no salt”. We have experienced this the last times we have dined there, and multiple other times in the last years. We really enjoy the food and speciality margaritas, but are considering not dinning there if Ollie is not working. This seems crazy that this can’t be solved?"

"I chose this place for my birthday dinner. I wanted to try something new and more than just Tex Mex. This place did not disappoint. Our waiter, Saul, was attentive and knowledgeable. Although he made suggestions, we had our selections made before arriving. He confirmed the duck carnitas and Mucho platter were two of the best dishes on the menu. We were happy with everything and have to come back to try the rellenos, enchiladas and other tacos as they looked scrumptious passing by our table. We were trying to decide on a dessert when Ron the manager comped a dessert of choice for my birthday. We went with the homemade Rocky Road ice cream. The food tasted upscale and the place looked nice. I was glad to know it was casual. The noise level was relatively quiet considering the crowd, but we were able to talk to each other. The prices are good and wide ranged. We chose two of the most expensive menu and drink items as it was a celebration but could have had a grand meal for a third of the price from their other selections. We won’t wait for a celebration before our next visit."

The menu is an expedition that takes you from Texas to Santa Fe and into the interior of Old Mexico with ingredients like chayote, mole, and duck. We were glad we took the server's suggestion, We have terrific TexMex, but you can get that anywhere. Try something from the rest of the menu.From the food to the service to the environment, we were totally taken with Mi Dia from scratch, and are looking forward to trying more new flavors on our next visit"
