"Cute unassuming sushi spot that isn't too busy! The server was kind and open to answering all my questions about what was and wasn't gluten free. I got the sashimi mix with steamed rice and didn't have any issues. The fish itself was fresh and for the price, I was satisfied with the portions. The chefs were also receptive about cleaning the cutting board and knives for my meal. This is definitely going to be my go-to neighborhood spot for sushi now. "It's too bad. I came on Saturday at about 12 noon and there were 3 seats at the sushi bar and two tables open and the greeter told me there were no seats for me. The single diner at the end of the sushi bar had already ordered and was eating and he told me 2 other people were joining her. And he said that the tables were reserved. I went back to my car and took a phone call and over the next 30 minutes one couple left and one couple entered.It's too bad. There food is very good, but I will never be back. I guess the greeter does not understand the life value of a customer. Who knows, maybe it was the owner."

"I will definitely be returning! I absolutely loved the dessert; it wasn't overly sweet. The miso soup was perfect. It was my first time trying crunchy sushi, and although it kept falling apart, I didn't mind at all. The yuzu cocktail was a delightful surprise. I also appreciated the politeness of the staff, which made the experience feel truly authentic Japanese."
