"This is my partner's favorite restaurant in the area, so I'm writing a review. He's usually the type to only order one thing from a restaurant- for American, Hispanic, Chinese, etc. This was the first restaurant that made him want to try something new. He's pretty judgemental, so most places are just okay to him. This one was amazing. Hands down the best Thai restaurant he'sever eaten at. Every time we're in the area, this is our go-to spot. (I didn't get a picture of the duck dish he ordered- I'lltry to do that next time. And for my word- it's a lovely little restaurant. The decor is unique and adorable, it's got amaximalist-chic vibe with large bookshelves filled with a lot of items that make it feel homey and a little upscale all at once. If you order a drink, it comes in these very hipster glass jars, which are reminiscent of Mason jars- but convenient to pickup. (I'll try to get a picture of them later too- I'm very into the jars. The seats on both sides are cushioned, so there'sno fighting over who gets the booth and who gets the hard seat- both are lovely to sit at with equally amazing views. The menuis round and has high quality food photos on each page. I'm also quite picky with what I eat, and this is the first time I'vebeen to a restaurant where I liked their dipping sauce. Overall, this is my favorite Thai place- not just in the Fairfax area, and definitely worth checking out if you're around."

"My review is going to be mainly based on the service of this establishment and while I think the food was great and I really did like the massaman curry with chicken that I ordered- it's what happened, leading up to my food delivery that I really want to highlight. So I ordered using seamless and for whatever reason (long day, I was exhausted! I didn't double check the delivery address and had the order confirmed for a different address than my house. My office! I live pretty close to work which is why they're both in the delivery range for this restaurant. I didn't realize my mistake until I got a call from my office lobby, on a Tuesday evening once I had already left work- asking me to come down to the office lobby to grab my food. Once I realized I requested the concierge to pass the phone to the delivery guy and after a brief inconclusive back forth he hung up. Within minutes I then received a call from the restaurant and the lady (assume manager/owner basically asked me for my correct address and out of the kindness of her heart said they will send me a new order!!! The previous order had been left in my office building already and so for no extra cost to me she offered to prepare a fresh order and send it over to my apartment this time! And get this, this the part that truly won me over- she says it'll be a bit of a wait so just want you to be aware of the delay and any inconvenience because of it....no words. I thanked her and sure enough within the next 20 minutes my food was dropped off at my door. Situations like this are really an opportunity for a business to show their customer service and compassion- everyone makes mistakes and while they could've charged me for a new order, they chose not to! I'm impressed :"
