"The bread is absolutely delicious, and the pastries are quite good (the scones are delightful). However, the cakes and brownies can be a bit too sugary. The service can be inconsistent; at times, it’s kind, helpful, and enthusiastic, but other times it feels nearly incompetent or even rude. It seems like the restaurant is often a training ground for staff, which isn’t a problem, but it would be better if only one trainee was on duty at a time. Also, it would be great if new staff could be taught to say "thank you!""
