"My daughters had invited myself and my wife to Naples to celebrate my 60th birthday. They had made a reservation at Pazzo for 20.30 and we arrived on time and was shown directly to our table. The restaurant was reasonably full but there many empty tables which on a Friday evening was somewhat surprising. We ordered drinks which came along pretty swiftly and was then asked to order which we did from the rather large and extensive menu. Our starters arrived in a flash, two tomato and mozzarella salads, one Tuscan bean soup and a Caesar salad. The soup tasted as if it had been made from paint emulsion, too much oil made it stick to the back of the throat. As for the Mozzarella this had obviously been pre-prepared and almost frozen making the tomatoes mushy and tasteless. To add insult to injury our main course arrived whilst we were trying to make the most of the appetizers. Needless to say we sent it back and was then confronted by a very put out manager whom tried to explain that this was the way they served paying clients at Pazzo. There was no question of the customer always being right, just eat what's is placed in front of you. I could go on and on but needless to say the meal went back to the kitchen and that was the last we saw of it. We asked for the bill and found that they had the audacity to add a gratuity which was promptly removed. If you want fast food stick to McDonald's, the service is better so is the food."

"Not sure where to begin-The meal was the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in years-We started with a salad-Waitress brought a salad i did not order-I did not argue but did not eat-next was Lobster Bisque-never showed until we asked and then came cold-Finally after another long wait came the main course-My husband had the calzone which he left half-not good-he always finishes or takes home was not interested in taking home.My course was supposed to be their specialty-shrimp with bacon on polenta-crab cake and fritter-served ice cold-polenta had to be the worst i have ever had-no flavor-they forgot it needs butter and cheese-shrimp was tough and bacon not cooked--probably should have asked waitress to take back but at that point ready to just leave and go home and have dinner-also specialty on web$19 at restaurant $28-left tip not too sure why-I would definitely skip-Lure is right next door and that is a wonderful restaurant"

"I’ve been to this place twice now over several years and both time I’ve left thinking Buona Forchetta is incredibly overrated. There are so many better Italian places in San Diego and even in the South Park area. This isn’t to say it is BAD but for over $100 for two people with no alcohol, I would expect something other than just average."

"We really enjoyed our dinner and the service was great. The noise level is high but not overwhelming and it was a busy Friday night, it may be quieter on another night. The service was just a little quick for us. I understand it's a Friday night and they need to turn tables but I'm a quick eater and my salad came out right behind the appetizer and my dinner was sitting for three or four minutes before I finished my salad. Next time I go, if I'm not in a rush, I'm going to ask them to slow down a little bit. I would prefer to finish an appetizer before a salad, or a salad before dinner. The food was excellent, I had pasta with pesto, and my wife had a beet salad. I started with the pear salad, and we shared the artichoke heart appetizer. All were freshly prepared with care and were delicious. In addition we had 1 glass of wine, a sparkling soda, and we took home a calzone for my son and it was $132 w 20% tip. Not inexpensive but reasonable in my opinion. We will go again and try the pizza, they look delicious!"

"Frankie Augie'Z does it again! We ordered food to be catered for our daughter's graduation party and everything came out perfect! The food was delivered on time delivery person was very helpful as we had someone receiving the food for us who could not carry the trays. Food was hot and delicious trays were full with more than enough food for everyone to enjoy. We also ordered a sicilian style cut white pizza to have as an appetizer and it was fresh hot, cheesy and plenty of garlic! Love when a restaurant cares about what they do its what keeps us going back for more. Thanks again for the awesome food and service."

"We arrived slightly early for our 630p reservation on a Tuesday night and were prompted seated in the main dining room. Outside, the temp was about 90 degrees. We contemplated leaving as the small main room was about half full and already the noise level (and clanging dishes from the kitchen was pretty intense. The waitress recognized our desire to have a quiet meal and took us over to the other side (usually used on weekends and overflow . What a delight. We had great martinis (a healthy pour for a change , each had a glass of wine, we shared a brochetta app and our entrees were excellent. I hadn 't had steak in quite awhile so I ordered the Bisetta...Gorgonzola strip .. and I had to take half back to the hotel. And the price was $29. No really. Imagine that! Perfectly cooked broccoli rabe and potatoes. My partner had the Gamberetti Risotto (Charbroiled jumbo shrimp $25. Seriously. Check these prices. And five star. Laura (Lauren? was our server and she went out of her way from start to finish. A most enjoyable meal one of four at different restaurants throughout Lehigh Valley. Getting a decent meal anywhere these days is pretty difficult especially at the price points that are now acceptable as mid range casual."

"I went here with my girlfriend on a date it was our first time here. I was on the fence about ordering the goat cheese pizza. They told me if I did not like it I wouldn't have to pay for it. There was a misunderstanding due to there being pork on my goat cheese pizza. It was prosciutto. I thought prosciutto was a type of cheese honestly, that was my mistake. I tried to speak with my waiter about it, telling him I am Muslim and cannot eat pork. He took my pizza to have it remade. He came back angry and defensive, telling me it is not the restaurant's fault for having pork on the pizza. I told him he was right it's not but I never said it was the restaurant's fault, I just cannot have the pork due to religious reasons. My girlfriend chimed in to de-escalate the situation and told the waiter it was just a misunderstanding and we apologize for the inconvenience. The waiter told my girlfriend she should have been a big girl and should have picked the pork out of my pizza. I told the waiter that we were the customers and we aren't very happy with how we're being treated. The waiter stormed off and came back with the pizza. I thought that was that. After eating my new pork-free goat cheese pizza, the waiter came back with the bill and charged me for both goat cheese pizzas, going back on what he said earlier. I felt very attacked that night, and I will never go there again. No one should have to experience that at a restaurant. It was terrible service, I advise against having a meal at this place."

"everything was delicious...i had the scallops omg to die for. my friends had eggplant parm with pasta...so much food she took half of it home..my other friend had suppa dapesce...the spelling has to be wrong....she said it was excellant.we had tons of bread...my friend made an olive oil dip from the f indings on the table....again excellant.i did ask for a meatball which i,m sure would have been the best i tasted but was told no meatballs...oh well everything was excellant though."

"Avanti has expanded its outdoor dining to a very pretty wedding tent like arrangement in the parking lot white table cloths, chandeliers, candlelights. Their usual patio is also available. Best of all, they are serving all the regular items on the menu. Their prosciutto pizza is fabulous just right saltychewy prosciutto on every slice with melting bufalo mozzarella, green and red peppers, light tomato base and a sprinkle of goat cheese on top. Yum! My companion had the frutti di mare pasta that had lots of seafood in a white wine sauce. Also very flavorful. The basket of crispy flat bread and garlic topped rolls is always a winner. Highly recommended for really reasonably priced always tasty Italiancontinental dining. As with most restaurants during the lockdown, service isn't what it used to be because of staffing issues. But it's such a blessing to enjoy a semblance of normalcy with a soothing cocktail or glass of wine and an excellent meal"

"We apologized for being 10 minutes late. We were told that it wasn’t an issue because there had been 39 cancellations that evening. That is terrible for this restaurant! There has to be a better way for Open table to make sure that people show up or otherwise I do not see open table being a viable reservation system going forward, That being said…we enjoyed our meal very much and the entire staff were nothing short of amazing on a night when they were definitely short changed on the reservation system."

"Vegetarian review: Gems bagels no longer serves fresh jalapenos cream cheese with their bagels. That being said the bagels themselves area too bit small and has very little cream cheese for the price. This place is expensive. That being said, the owners are genial who try as hard as possible to satisfy your expectations. I wish them success otherwise in their establishment. The pot coffee was excellent and it is NOT bottomless like some other establishments again for the high price it would have been nice however. The side of potatoes are utter junk however just chips of potato (slices) deep fried with no seasoning. They taste bad and feel bad too. My peeve with the restaurant though is the absolute lack of cleanliness in the seating area see my pictures. It is wretched. The tables are grimy, the floors are disgusting and the bathroom doors are all nasty. Considering how beautiful the decor is the lack of hygiene in the customer facing area is a disappointment and a tab bit unsettling."

"I was walking on Main St. looking for lunch and was faced with several viable options. A corner table on La Bottega's patio, which was in the shade, called to me as it was a warm, sunny day. I entered and was immediately greeted by extremely welcoming staff. As the table I was eyeing was being prepared for me, I must have been asked another three times if I'd yet been helped. Great attentiveness! I took my seat and placed my order: 1/2 Giuseppe sandwich and 1/2 smoked mushroom ravioli. It arrived in no time at all and was delicious. Everything about the experience was perfect. I highly recommend this place and am excited to return for dinner sometime."
