"It was my first visit to this restaurant with my wife and it was disappointing to say the least. We were greeted by a gruff maître D who tried to put us on the terrace even though there were thunderstorms but agreed to place us inside when we mentioned it looked like there was room. He mentioned the table was booked in 2 hours which was enough time for us. My Kir Royal was lukewarm and didn't look like it had been prepared with bubbly (flat), after we had out cocktail nobody enquired if we wanted wine with supper - we had to ask after the meal was already there. I ordered filet mignon which came almost cold and I had to ask them to warm it up. My wife was asked if she was finished with 1/3 of her plate remaining. The food was good, but the experience was very poor and not worth the price (It's expensive). Overall it's pub service without a smile, with overpriced food you can find elsewhere. It felt like the restaurant is doing good business and don't really care about the patrons, they cant wait to get your money and get you out of there. It was only one visit and it is possible that it would have been different on another day, I'll never find out since I'm never going back, there are so many other good restaurants in Montreal."
