"The service was awful. We had to wait until the very last meal was served before anyone attended to us. The dishes did not match the descriptions on the menu, lacking the promised herbal elements. My meatballs were so tough that I needed a steak knife to cut them. I could easily cook better than what was offered. The server was unfriendly as well. This was the worst meal I've had in all my years visiting New York."

"We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. The food is always good. A few comments, we asked the waiter to decant our cabernet, and he spilled it on the table by pouring from the wrong spout. He also poured cab into white wine glasses. He was apologetic, but should have known how to handle this. The place is loud, I know they can't fix acoustics, but I felt like I was talking very loud to just the 1 other person at my table. The chairs are not comfortable. I know it's a look, but they just are not."
