"I really want to like this restaurant and see it do well. However, there are some shortcomings with certain dishes (like the eggplant parmigiana) and the service. The wait staff seems nervous about making mistakes. During our previous visit, we were seated right by the door even though the restaurant was empty. Our meals that night (Carbonara and pasta bolognese) were delicious. When we returned with friends, we were seated at a better table. Unfortunately, our dinners were served at the same time as our salads. The waitstaff seemed surprised when we mentioned we wanted to start with the salad first. Although the food was decent, I wondered if it would have been better if the timing was correct. My husband enjoyed his veal parmigiana, but my friend didn't like his eggplant parmigiana. We might give it another chance since it's nearby, the interior is nice, the bread is amazing, and, as I mentioned, I want to see it succeed."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"My husband and I visited Piccolo for the first time recently, and we plan to return again and again. The food was superb. They accommodated my food allergies exactingly and with aplomb, serving me a delicious meal perfectly and exclusively prepared. My husband had the eggplant rolitini appetizer and raved about flawlessly melded flavors. For his main, he had the risotto with grilled shrimp and scallops. The exquisitely fresh seafood was exceptionally cooked, beautifully sauced, and the risotto itself had a perfect bite. The portions were so large that he took his dessert home a tiramisu. It’s his favorite Italian dessert, and he has sampled it all over Italy and the US. Piccolo’s tiramisu is authentically prepared and rivals the best he has had. The service was welcoming, friendly, and attentive to our every need without being obsequious. The dishes were timed to arrive precisely and at the perfect temperature. "I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"That evening, there was a special where ladies could enjoy half-price items, and a menu highlighted these half-price options. However, if you wanted to add extras like chicken or other meats, their prices weren’t listed on the menu. It turned out they charged full price for those add-ons. When you combined this with the half-price meal, the total ended up being quite expensive for what would generally be considered an average dining experience. It felt a bit misleading; if we hadn’t asked about the prices while ordering, the final bill would have been a real surprise."

"I came to this restaurant with my family, although we had booked reservations it ended up taking an extra 20 mins to get our table which is okay since we could tell it was really busy. The staff was super friendly, the place is set up beautifully. We ordered quite a few different items and it was a bit of a hit/miss with some of them. The bruschetta was great, I got the salmon which was also really good. We ordered the lamb chops appetiser and most of it was very undercooked, my dad got this one dish which beef and mashed potatoes, the beef was very over cooked and looked quite burnt. We didn’t wanna bother the server too much so we just left it but overall the food was good. I’d likely come by for a couple of apps versus full meals."

"One month ago, we had my daughter-in-laws baby shower here. In the past, we have had wonderful experiences at Brio and I have recommended this restaurant many times, but this was a fiasco. As I was pulling up to the restaurant with a carload of favors, centerpieces and decorations, the manager calls to ask me if we were doing the patio area, so obviously, the tables were not set. When tables were ready, there was a plate and a napkin at each place setting, no salad plate, no glassware, no pitchers of water, Nothing! I did order pitchers of Sangria, which were on a table off to the side with glasses there, I of course was the waitress for our guests, offering and pouring the Sangria. The wait staff was nowhere to be found. Many times I had to look for the waitresses. No one came to ask the guests if they wanted a drink coffee, tea and a beverage were included). Although the food was delicious, I had to ask for more chicken to be brought out. The platters consisted of four chicken breasts cut in half. One of the wait staff suggested we wait to have cake until after my DIL opened her gifts. Well, during that time no one asked guests if they wanted coffee or tea. The coffee was served to the guests after they ate their cake. I normally do not do a negative review, but I have been talking to the catering manager Denise, who works from NY since the day after the shower and I feel I have gotten no satisfaction. Before starting our lunch, we found a flake of onion on the back of one of the forks and asked a guy who was serving the food to change it for another new one. He has just grabbed the fork and gone off. After a while, he showed up and put the new one on the table with a thud and without saying anything. This happened twice, because the dish they served was really dirty. He acts just like a mugger; glaring at us, grasping the dish. The most disgusting thing I 've experienced at the restaurant was I FOUND A STRAND of the cook 's hair! We couldn 't keep eating our lunch, only about 5 minutes passed since we got our food) so I called the server to explain what happened, but she said nothing. Literally NOTHING. I asked her to get me the bill $53.85) and she CHARGED FOR ALL THE PLATES that made us disgusting and ruined our lunch. I took some pictures of what happened today and brought the 'problematical ' shrimp with the strand of the hair. I 'm going to keep this in my fridge I know it could be disgusting, but I might need to keep it) just in case the lawyer needs it as a proof. It was extremely disgusting and I feel like I had been unfairly treated. Unfortunately, I 'm not going to overlook this issue and tell the lawyer everything."

"My husband and I visited Naples on March 11th and had lunch at Brio. The server spilled my husband's glass of wine all over the tablecloth. I ordered Tilapia (which Michael suggested) and they brought out greasy Tilapia and overcooked brocolli. I took one look and the grease-filled plate made my stomach flip. I tried to eat it as we had waited so long for our food. After two bites, I couldn't take any more. When we told the server, Michael, he just ignored us and charged us for my dinner too. We paid the bill, but on our way out, I spoke to Michael and told him that I was surprised at the way he had handled the situation. He became defensive and stated that I had eaten half of the fish and he wouldn't take it off the bill. (again I took 2 bites) He told us earlier that he had worked there for 12 years. It is beyond me why he's been there that long. As an aside: While we were waiting for our meal, we heard the lady behind us say to the server that her food was not good and they just ignored her too. "We were greeted warmly at the door by two very welcoming hostesses. There was no seating available in the dining area but we were seated quickly at a booth in the bar. When I went to use the lavatory I noticed that the restaurant was not full, so I appreciate that Brio's is prioritizing service. Our server promptly came to take drink orders and warm sourdough bread was also served. We tried to order lemonade but they were out. The server recommended the Italian wedding soup, so we had that as an appetizer. It was flavorful and very delicious! We then ordered entrees the lobster and shrimp fettuccine. While it was not what I expected, it was still very delicious. Our server was also tending the bar so service was slow, but he was very kind. Overall, I would definitely return to try other dishes.
