"Now, about the service: I was the only customer in the restaurant from noon until 12:50 PM, yet the server never once stopped his conversation on his earpiece. To make matters worse, he kept pacing around the establishment while speaking, which was quite distracting. He only addressed me twice—once to point out the water and the display case when I arrived, and later, when I asked for water in a glass with ice because I suspected there might be a charge for the bottled water. It felt like the restaurant was being run by someone from an earlier era. The server left five light bulbs off above the buffet table, as if that was a strategy to save on electricity. When I took over our family business, I was told that turning on lights in another room made it feel like we had expanded. The lack of light added to the depressing atmosphere, especially since I was the only patron. If they just brightened the place up, people might be more inclined to stop in. As for the restroom, it was just as I expected: damp, musty, and heavily masked with chemical sprays. It made me wonder how the kitchen was being maintained. Now, despite these issues, I must emphasize that the food was impressive—hot, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. I believe it’s time for the younger family members to take the reins of this place. To improve the atmosphere, they should consider installing bright LED lights; yes, it's a bit of investment initially, but they are long-lasting and will save money in the long run. The music should also be adjusted—play pleasant background tracks without any singing, turned down low. Lastly, they need to put up an outdoor sign advertising the buffet. Currently, the promotion is limited to a crowded window display. And most importantly, the server should be encouraged to engage with customers instead of racing around with his phone. Best of luck to them; the food truly deserves it! Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"Our family went here to celebrate my aunt's birthday a couple weeks ago, and to get my grandma out of the house for one of the few times during covid. First of all, my family can be a little hard to wait on. Not rude, just kind of strange requests and whatnot. But our server took care of us very well the entire time. One of our family members had a hurt leg and needed to keep it raised. The server immediately got us an extra chair, no questions asked. When we first sat down, there was no music playing which made it a little awkward. We asked her about putting on music, and she immediately put on some wonderful Bollywood music videos on their huge TV. She took the time to take everyone's order and answer any questions. It was a bit much, but she handled all of us with patience, and she was knowledgeable on the food. The food did take a while to come out, but we were a large party, so fair enough. When it did though, everything was excellent. They told us what each dish was as they brought them out, which was helpful since we were sharing it all. At first, we were thinking we might not have ordered enough because it didn't look like alot. But we actually couldn't finish it all and had to take some home with us, and a few of us are pretty big eaters. We were stuffed, and it was all delicious. At the end of the meal, we were asked about dessert and we replied that we were going back to the house for dessert, but when she saw it was my aunt's birthday, she brought out gulab jamun with a raspberry drizzle, one for each of us. That was really nice of her and an excellent way to wrap up the meal without filling us up too much for our later dessert. Also, I could tell that she treated our grandma with patience and extra respect, which was very nice to see.I would also like to say that the two top bad reviews, one is complaining about the prices and the fact that they have signs up for a buffet they don't have anymore. With covid, food prices have doubled on many ingredients. Everyone has raised their prices. Just look at almost every other restaurant. And as for the buffet, the restaurant would probably love to have it back if covid ever allows it again. It's a pretty lame move to write a bad review on a place during covid, especially when the things you're complaining about are because of covid. Quality of food and service wasn't even mentioned. The other bad review says they didn't even bother to go because they don't like the restaurants responses. Well they're missing out because this place was excellent, and we received great service. Fair enough if you read reviews and don't want to go, but don't leave a bad review for a place you never tried. That's just stupid.Anyway, thanks for the great night, Monsun. It meant alot to us as we don't get all of us together that often anymore. Keep doing what you're doing!"
