"Well I didn't go here for many months because I had a terrible experience with her female manager who is completely rude and completely unprofessional but I always like the deli there so I decided to place an order on ciao now today. Got to the establishments when I was supposed to pick up my order and nobody knew anything about the order in fact the older woman at the register said you probably placed your order in Ronkonkoma this is Nesconset Out did you know you're in this concept. I told her yes I know exactly where I placed my order I proceeded to show the water to the young girl behind the counter and she knew nothing about it as well. Instead of making my order I had to wait for every customer that was inside the store to finish their order making my total wait time one hour I was in the store for about 30 minutes past the tome it was supposed to be ready and guess what it was still wrong!!! Shame on Handy Pantry....The only associate there that was kind and offered any help with this young girl with blue streaked hair she was very sweet and kind and the only person that actually knew what they were doing in the whole place!"

"update: handy pantry reached to correct and I appreciate that! to handy pantry: many thanks for their answer and offer to fix the problem. both orders were placed on grubhub, like most of our orders every week for handy pantry, in which regular without problems. grubhub hasn't relied so much, but I'm just glad that this has been acknowledged and hoped that no problems will get more cowardly. order details per your inquiry:6/3 order 97381906 0156175; pfefferoncini and hot sauce missing on both sandwiches6/5: order 76291908 7915997; via simple eggs were cooked over hard (usually always properly cooked) handy pantry makes in the regel amazing eiersandwiche. it hurts me to write this, but the last 2 orders were a disappointment, including false cooked eggs on one order, and lacked several items on 2 deli sandwiches on another order. even if they order by grub hub, they never seem to read the special instructions box. I really hope that handy pantry reads these reviews and makes adjustments accordingly, because they have good food and I would love to give them the business. I command them again and see if this is just a fuke or the new norm."

"I normally order takeout from omakase, their food is pretty good! This time I sat inside and noticed it's a bit dark. It gives a nice relaxing and romantic atmosphere but it's just a bit darker than I like but it's nice.We had beef bulgogi and Korean short ribs. The onion soup is absolutely delicious and comes with it. The white rice was well made, not too mushy or too hard. The Korean short ribs are always good, they give you a big helping of onions as well which helps bring some nice crunch and acidity. Sometimes the short ribs lack a bit in flavor but that's a rare occurrence. I like to drip the sauces that come out of the short ribs into my rice and helps bring that flavor in so well. With the plates they serve food on though I unfortunately can't do that. I did also have a few bone pieces now and then but that's the first time that's happened. The bulgogi tasted good, it's also served on a lot of onions. Over all the food was great.Seating wise there was enough space which I was happy about because I'm plus size but I sat comfortably.Prices were fine, everything is normally under 25. Everything is also very clean. Service was great as well."

"Bad food Quality Bad service in house Lack of follow up Unprofessionalism from the Owner I came here on July 5th with my child and spouse, and ordered the following: 1. Bento Box w/Sashimi 2. (2) California Rolls 3. Dragon Roll 4. Some other roll They brought out the Bento Box first, without the sashimi. This was my spouses meal, in which we waited but after 5 10 mintues we decided to share it due to the wait. I had asked the cashier twice where and when the rest of the food would come, (mine and my childs order) After waiting 20 minutues, and also completing the Bento Box, I asked the cashier to at least bring my childs california rolls out. They did, and we waited AGAIN. After another 5 minutues, I had asked what was going on with the remaining order, and let him know we still did not even get the sashimi from the Bento Box. He then left and brought out the sashimi, which we hungrily ate. It took another 5 minutes to get the dragon roll, and then after some time, the last roll. Once we tasted the dragon roll, and the lat roll the seaweed used was not fresh, extremely chewy and stringy. The sushi roll had old or ingredients used that had been left out, that made both rolls un edible. This in turn, did not give me faith in eating the sashimi that came late. Further, when I made note of the old, bad quality sushi rolls, my son stated that the california rolls also tasted old. We were unable to eat the following: 1. Sashimi 2. Dragon roll 3. other x roll 4. (1) California roll Also, each food item came out 20 minutes apart. I let the cashier at the front know, in which he told me he did not have the ability to process a refund and would call the owner. He gave me the owners phone number and said to process my refund of $74.49 she would be calling me here shortly. I never recieved a call that day, and called Bento Box later that night. The same casher assured me she would call she did not. I called the next day and was told she would call she did not. I was given her phone number again, and told to give her a call. It is now August 4th, thirty days since Ive tried to get this handled. I have texted the owner a total of 9 times for my refund, and called her number as well as the restaurant at least 10 times since. I just want my refund due to lack of quality, food, service, and now clear and apparent unprofessionalism in handling this matter that has led me to have to write this review"

"delicious sushi! the rice really makes it and the fish itself tastes fresh and yummy. service can be a bit slow but honestly i don’t trust an asian restaurant that has overly nice service anyway she brought us little canapés to start, which was awesome! miso soup hit the spot and we got 4 rolls between 2 people. "I want to specify this; it is currently late in the year 2021, for clarifications to other reviews and photos posted on Google/Google Maps, in reference to reviews about this restaurant. I ordered through a third party delivery partner, but I looked up the menu items I was unfamiliar with, as I was unable to believe I was getting 7 (SEVEN! items within my bento box, as it showed on the delivery partners website! However I was able to confirm that as well as through looking the restaurant up, while I continued looking for the listed and specified menu item included (discludes ingredients within the menu items descriptions, to further help me in selecting the best choice for myself. Should you (Which, Yes, You Should! order one of this restaurants Bento box dinners, you receive your chosen entre, gyoza, a house salad, a soup (pint sized container, tempurad veggies, white rice, and their California roll. Check out my accompanying photos as, I wanted to provide the best feedback and review, as well as up to date review possible, for this restaurants delivery only experience; especially since I ordered mine through my favorite delivery partner DoorDash. Additionally because I had seen someone had written a review that they tried to go there to eat, and they are still currently operating under take out orders, or deliveries, as well as third party delivery partner ordering, at this moment. The food is fresh, exquisite, well worth the cost, provides an amazing variety, and is served complete with wasabi, fresh ginger, soy sauce, chopsticks, spoons/forks/napkins. Which I wasn't expecting as well. I am so so so very happy, pleased, thrilled, and will be a repeating customer, to this amazing Japanese, Sushi, Chinese, Americanized Flair of Fare style in which is devoted to true description. "Took my mom to dinner for mother’s day tonight and the food was INCREDIBLE! there’s nothing that i can even compare this restaurant too! employees escorted guests to the bathroom by arm. drinks were strong. customer service was amazing! scenery was beautiful and the live pianist was very relaxing! gunnar is the ABSOLUTE BEST server! the assistant manager jacob was also very great! very attentive and came over to the table plenty of times! we accidentally parked in the parking garage behind hotel indigo because with us being from NY and this being our first time, we did not know they have COMPLIMENTARY valet parking. he complemented our bill the money we spent on parking and also gave free dessert. we were already won over by the amazing food and service but this definitely put the icing on the cake!"

"This little quiet gem is fantastic... besides the owner flirting w me like a typical traditional Italian. He was personable brought me memories from Italians in New York and the food. The food is fantastic the hot bread w the butter is making me drive back over to have another meal. The linguine w clams amazing. "My $70 NY strip was hardly edible!! Not a first time there experience. Like chewing on a piece of leather. I’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse on a bad day. I don’t send food back due to the horror stories you read about that can happen to returned food. A $70 steak should not have to be sent back to begin with. My wife’s filet was very good. "The food lived up to the very expectations. Service at the bar with Katrina and Rob at the table were first rate. I ended up being a solo diner and arrived early hoping to grab a table but understood the restaurant was full but could wait in the bar, or be seated outside. Not a problem, I was early! What I found us was when I was seated at my reservation time, I counted 9 empty tables in the dining room. Found that a little odd…anyway, I loved the fact they had a great live band in the bar! I was even more appreciative of sound level that still allowed for easy conversations to occur with a very friendly crowd."
