"I’m not going to lie I bought 3 tacos of different kind they’re the best in the area very tasty tacos lots of flavor. The green red sauce tasty too not to spicy not to less spicy, perfect. "Tried Margaritas last Sunday evening. The place is huge and must have a dj on the weekends since there is a dj booth in the back. The bar area is very large. We are at the bar. I had a margarita which was a little sweet but good. We ordered a bunch of different tacos which were all very large and quite tasty. The shrimp one was extra spicy and the steak one was very good. Wanted to try some of the special ones but you can't add those to the combos. Although the bar was empty the bartender wasn't overly responsive which was fine. We continue our search for a new Sunday spot. This spot is good but not an every week place."

"This restaurant is very spacious and consistently empty whenever I visit. The food is decent, but the lone waiter on staff seems to be overwhelmed and indifferent. Upon entering, no one greets you, leaving you unsure if the waiter even knows you are there. Eventually, he may emerge from the back after a lengthy wait. However, don't expect to be offered water - if you request it, you'll receive an excessive amount in a red plastic bucket. The utensils will be provided in a single paper napkin, and finding additional napkins will prove to be a challenging task. If you manage to ask for more, you'll only receive one extra napkin per person. Despite these shortcomings, the prices are surprisingly high. Overall, this restaurant fails to impress."

"This was our 1st time here. We stopped in to eat before my dentist appointment. It is a small place at the corner of a strip mall with about 4 tables and 15 chairs in all. There is a TV and a single bathroom( which is clean . The service was very good. You order at the counter. She was ready to help us as soon as we walked in and checked on us a couple of times while we were seated. (very attentive The horchata is light with good flavor and not too sweet but a little pricey. We ordered a taco salad, 2 tacos and corn in a cup. We received chips and salsa at the table. Both were flavorful. The chips were warm and not greasy. The taco salad was a little sparse with the tomatoes (8 little chopped pieces but good amount of lettuce and cheese. The meat was seasoned and also NOT greasy. Huge win there! Maybe the shell hides how much is really in there because it appeared, in my opinion, to be on the smaller side with the fillings. We tried the Gavilan tacos. These include steak, bacon and chorizo with onion and cilantro. I was expecting a greasy mess considering the meat combination. But, surprise!!! No grease : Totally winning me over and we didn't leave hungry. The grand finale was the corn in a cup. This hit the spot. It was just like buying it from the street vendor in the city. (oh how I've missed you . All in all, they have my vote and I will be a repeat customer."

"I was really disappointed with the Sizzling Fajitas Especiales with chicken. The flavor was off, and it was mostly filled with onions and just a few pieces of chicken. The rice was overcooked and mushy. I also tried the Two Items Combination with Sopes, which included one pork and one beef. While the beef was decent, the pork was dry. The Sopes were also dry and fell apart easily. The Chips and Salsa we ordered came with a salsa that tasted more like tomato juice with a hint of spice. Overall, I won't be returning."

"The fish was excellent, as always, but I had requested a substitution of beans for the salad, which I didn't receive. The soup was good, but it felt like it was missing some ingredients and therefore lacked flavor. I've had it at other places where it included tomatoes, and the tortillas were deep-fried and placed on top."

"I would give this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 in every aspect. The service, food, and cozy Mexican atmosphere all contribute to making this place truly special. It is incredibly underrated, especially considering its location in Rochester, MN. This is the best food I have tried in this area. The waitress is attentive, humble, and patient. I absolutely love it here!"
