"Just visiting Effingham for the night, and we were very glad we found Gopher's Grill for dinner! The food and service were great, and the atmosphere was excellent. I had the Philly Cheesesteak (topped with cheese whiz, like it should be), and my wife had the SW Chicken Salad. Both were outstanding. There was also a great selection of local and regional beers at reasonable prices. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food at a fun place."
