"We enjoyed our first visit to Zzest. The food was delicious. The interior was quirky and fun. The evening was marred by two things: terrible music and mediocre service. Our server brought our salad before we finished our appetizer and brought our entrees while both appetizer and salad were on our (very tiny) table. The service was so rushed that there wasn't even an opportunity to order a second drink and the place was half empty. We will be back."

"First and only restaurant review; however, so perturbed with pricing I felt it appropriate to warn others. Ordered Maker 's Mark Manhattan, up. Drink fine, dinner fine; however, when the bill came, the drink was charged at $24.00! Questioned the waiter; got the shrug it is what it is response to which I commented obscene . I went back and checked my experience with comparable restaurants and same drink order over past 8 months: Graze $12.00/drink for two different occasions, Wood Grain $13/drink for two different occasions, Fleet Landing $13, Burtons $14, Sunsets $14. So, how does Red Drum justify such exorbitant pricing? And no, it wasn 't served with gold leaf; and although the view of Coleman Blvd traffic was fabulous, it wasn 't an added value of $10.00 $12.00! That $24 base cost ended up with a total impact of $32 when you factor in tip, CC fee and taxes. Note Don 't give me song/dance that supply costs are up, service costs are up...the customer pays 90% of the wait staff 's salary in addition to a 4% credit card fee and 12% in taxes. I reiterate obscene!"

"I received a confirmation from opentable. I called the restaurant and the recorded voice said they would call back. I didn't leave a message because I had received a confirmation of an open table. I arrived at the restaurant and it was closed. Every restaurant that cannot manage technology in today's environment deserves no protection. We wanted to test restaurant for city guests in September. We'll never go to this restaurant again. When we booked at the open table, it said that 22 people had booked this day... that they suffer the same disaster? How does Opentable protect its reputation? In the future it seems that you need to make a personal reservation....as you do not seem able to rely on the technology. Sad."

"A very charming looking place (with lovely indoor ambience and terrific outdoor seating) with friendly staff. The menu is somewhat limited and the food was very “okay”. The salmon tartare was mediocre (not finely diced, somewhat unappetizing), the shrimp risotto had over cooked shrimp and was generally mediocre in flavor, and the branzino was very good in flavor and preparation. The service lacked refinement it took a long time for the server to bring share plates after delivering our entrees, letting them get cold while we waited and he served other tables first.All in all, it was okay and for $90 per person, there are plenty of other better options, even if this one has charming decor."

"I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the asparagus was a fantastic alternative choice. The rum cake dessert was outstanding as well. While the ambiance wasn't particularly romantic, despite the dim lighting, the management was very attentive; one of the partners even stopped by our table to check on how we were enjoying our meal, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. My husband ordered the catch of the day, the wreck fish, and he loved it, while our friends enjoyed their burgers too. Overall, it was a great experience! I will definitely make this place a regular spot!"
