"This is one place I am absolutely going to again. I do travel often, and I am one who prefers to stop at a local place as opposed to one of the big names I can go to down the street from my house. When I saw the name on the sign on the highway, even though I wasn't ready to stop yet, I said I absolutely had to go here. I am so glad I did. The atmosphere is classic diner, which I love. Looking over the menu, I wanted absolutely everything. I went with the country fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, green beans, macaroni and cheese, and hush puppies. OH MY, THE HUSH PUPPIES! Everything was great. Well, everything but the green beans were SPECTACULAR! The green beans were...ordinary. I added a little pepper, and it brought the flavor out more, but that is the only thing I added anything to. For the coffee drinkers out there, I have been trying to think of another place that gives you life size coffee cups. Usually, the cups are small, and many I can not even get my normal sized man fingers into. I commend you, Granny, for taking this seemingly small step outside of the norm. I am sure there are others out there who appreciate this as much as I do. 10 10 I can't recommend enough."
