"I went here on a last minute meet up with a friend. It's location was a little weird to me but hey, I guess any place in Westfield is a good place. Its a hip place and feels inviting when you walk in. I of course, made my way to the bar to have a seat. To my surpirise it is not a full bar, they only serve wine and sangria. Well I wouldn't let that news rain on my parade, so a pitcher of red sangria please! They have an interesting menu, but from my experience there, you can't go wrong with anything chicken related. I tried a spicy corn roll (yes,they serve sushi) and their fried chicken sammich. Sushi roll, not to my liking....but that chicken sammich sang sweet melodies to my heart haha. So if you are a fried chicken lover this is a place to go, if not then allow them to make you one. They also have karaoke rooms for reservation if you feel like being a rockstar."

"Dec. 2012. The wife and I visited Scotty's twice while in NYC for our anniversary. The first day we had brunch. She had the NY Pastrami wrap which she raved about. The wrap included cheese, dijon mustard, a mountain of pastrami in a wrap. It was accompanied by fries, a pickle and cole slaw. I had a bacon, egg cheese omelet, which was very good. It came complete with country potatoes and toast. The morning staff was very nice and attended to our every need. A+ for our morning trip.<br/ <br/ The second time we went was a late night dinner, as we spent all day running around NYC doing some Christmas shopping. That night my wife got the corned beef wrap, again with fries, a pickle and cole slaw. I went with the open faced roast beef sandwich. It was accompanied with mashed potatoes and corn. As good as her pastrami wrap was, she said that the corned beef wrap was the opposite. The wrap was soggy, the meat was tough and had little to no flavor. The roast beef was tender, hot and was plentiful. I had to get a to-go plate because I couldn't eat it all. We also got a piece of strawberry cheesecake that was fantastic. The night staff was not nearly as nice as the morning staff. The cashier was rude and the wait staff in the evening was not as effecient as the morning staff. Overall, Scotty's was a good place and we will try again when we are back in NYC, but only for breakfast or brunch.<br/ <br/ C- for our evening trip."

"Passover FeastAs if fated, last summer, I discovered the best care for my illness and the soothing restaurant nearby--the Silver Star Restaurant. When I returned to the Silver Star recently, the manager handed me a printed menu. It said, Happy Passover! Following that, it read, Today 's Special Includes: Cup of Matzoh Ball Soup or Salad, Potato Pancake, Tszimes, Complimentary Glass of Manchewitz Wine and Holiday Special Cake The offer came with three choices of entrees. They were all tempting. With the suggestion from the young waiter Carlos, I settled on broiled salmon. I had my usual seat next to the glass wall overlooking a busy avenue.The historic spacious corner restaurant was quiet and sun filled. Before long, the waiter in black with a pink tie reappeared. He brought me the unexpected, for the sweet wine and colorful salad were only the prelude for the second course. The salmon was for a family! It was several times the size of a regular serving in any restaurant. It was accompanied by two side dishes. And of course, it tasted as it looked. It was fresh, crispy and tender inside. I applauded such delicate touch.Sipping the deep red wine, I was touched by the graciousness of Passover. I felt joy."

"Stay far away. I ordered online and added a tip. The restaurant called me and asked why I only tipped the amount I put. I have never in my life been asked that and the guy was so incredibly rude. This is in addition to the delivery fees and service fees. I told the guy to cancel my order. He then said no it’s not a problem and I again said cancel my order I do not want the food. Well the food never came but he also did not cancel the order so I was charged for food I never received. I will never order from here and will make sure friends are family don’t either. Way to lose a customer!"

"In reading the reviews for Dominik's Pizza, I have to agree that this place is amazing. But all the reviews fail to acknowledge this weird Italian-Mexican food combo going on. Tacos at a pizza place?? Or is it pizza at a taco place? This strange combination is what drew me here. This is my story: I had a 7:30 reservation on a Friday evening. I called to confirm the reservation and they had no problem with my request to be seated in the back room. Right after we were seated, the lights were dimmed and a Mexican Mariachi band started to play. I was surprised as I did not expect to be serenaded while eating pizza. But they were awesome! They sang a variety of songs and even danced around. I always wanted to see a Mariachi band, so it was a great treat. The music was fun and upbeat and got everyone in the mood to eat. The restaurant itself is rather small, and almost every table was filled. The walls are covered with caricatures of people on the walls and there are tables in the back where you can sit and eat while watching the Mexican TV shows on their flat screen TV. I was pretty excited to eat the pizza since Dominik's is known for their pizza. I ordered the Fiesta Pizza which has chicken, chorizo, onion, tomatoes, olives, and cheese. The pizza was huge and was cut into slices that were a good portion size. The pizza was very tasty and a little spicy. My friend ordered the Pizza Rustica which is red sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and artichokes. The pizza was just as good as mine. Disclosure: The last two paragraphs were written with an AI, and are not true. It is a fantastic spot though."

"A Greek restaurant should be proud of its Baklava dessert. This was a small portion with taste and consistency more suitable to Denny 's. Medium lamb chops greatly overdone and little flavor. Terrible wine-by-the-glass selection, a Chilean red wine served far too warm (an amateur mistake), and served in a small glass more suitable for sweet dessert wines. Took a lonnng time (45 minutes) to get entrees after we finished a weak salad. Restaurant should have comped dessert. Server really tried and was very friendly and gracious but doesn 't really pay attention . My fault for not sending everything back but we were hungry and wanted to just eat and go at that point. Will definitely not return."

"Had high hopes because I’d ordered delivery from here earlier but ended up disappointed Ordered a rosemary chicken sandwich and a falafel sandwich on wheat. The taste was just ok. Like it was not super great and neither was it horrible. Just ok. Felt like eating fast casual at a sit down dinner place and that felt kind of weird too. The baba ganoush was.. a weird color and kind of grainy, not smooth. And there was too little pita to go with it. It tasted ok but the texture threw me off At some point someone turned down all the overhead lights and the lights started flickering instead of being like a constant dim and that gave me a horrible headache. It was fine if the lights were on full but the on/off thing was really disconcerting and we heard others mention it too I guess we also ended up there on a super busy day where they just had one person running around doing everything, I hope their service is better otherwise? And they have a bar area where some sports were playing which is fine I guess but struck me a bit odd haha But it’s cool that they have half off wine bottles on mondays. And other drink specials other days Solidly average experience and food, don’t recommend if you’re in a hurry though"
