"Riverwalk used to be such a great spot. I loved coming here for its unique, unpretentious atmosphere. I would sit beneath the large John Coltrane poster, enjoy new music, and truly feel at home. However, since new ownership took over, it has all changed for the worse. The charm, originality, and vibe are gone—everything feels overly polished and generic now. The staff all wear matching outfits, and there are “espresso yourself” signs everywhere, giving it a corporate feel that detracts from its former character. I used to feel a sense of community here, but now it feels like sipping coffee in the clearance section of a craft store. While the coffee and food are still decent, and the staff remains friendly, if you're looking for a unique and cozy experience, Riverwalk is no longer the right choice. It's become quite sterile."
