"I am so disappointed with the service here. Visiting a friend who frequents this deli with her husband and decided to order for dinner. The sandwiches came and her husband's was smothered in ranch which he is allergic to. Mistakes happen fine she calls back to let them know of their error, hoping they would rectify it quickly and was first told that she would be called back which was strange but then they said they would send a replacement sandwich in exchange for the messed up one. It's been 30 minutes and the deli is less than a mile away and no sandwich. The first order came within 15 minutes of us ordering. Now that I see some of the reviews it seems they have an accountability issue when they mess up and take it out on the customer. Smh"

"The woman at the counter was friendly, but she didn't seem fully engaged. The food I had was delicious, but my fiancé's pizza was a bit too doughy, even though it was well-prepared for what it was. The wait for our food felt a bit long, and my fiancé's pizza arrived only warm rather than hot. The interior of the restaurant was quite plain; some background music would have been a nice touch instead of the news that was playing. At $38, the meal felt a bit pricey for what we received. Despite this, we’re likely to return."

"I reached out to coordinate everything with Danielle, who was incredibly efficient and an excellent communicator, responding quickly to all my inquiries. I also spoke with the owner, Mike, a few times, and both of them were fantastic in addressing my questions and helping me plan this surprise for 70 guests. Their Old Tyme Picnic package was perfect for the occasion. Let me just say, my guests were raving about the food! From the BBQ chicken to the ribs and grilled vegetables, everyone kept coming up to me to compliment how delicious everything was, and that made me so happy to hear. Food is absolutely one of the most crucial elements of a successful party, and Ronnie's truly delivered. I can't thank them enough for being so wonderful, along with the two cooks who came to set up for our event. Everything went incredibly smoothly from start to finish, and we even had plenty of leftovers that we're still enjoying! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I can't wait to plan another party and have Ronnie's cater for us again!"

"I never leave negative reviews, but my experience with this place has me absolutely livid. We ordered from here through Grubhub, and the restaurant uses their *own* driver, so we cant track the order. We finally get through to the restaurant after over an hour of trying to call (AFTER waiting for an hour for the food, no calls, no food). The man who answered the phone tells my partner that it's been delivered, that the driver called us and he took a picture of the delivery, THEN tells us he cant reach his driver because hes off for the night, now. There is no food here, and it wasnt delivered to a nearby house by mistake, I checked. The kicker? We never received any call, not from anyone tonight. So this restaurant chose to lie to us rather than make good. If I could give this place a negative star or five, I would. Absolutely appalled."

"I will never go Marcello's in Whitman again. I used to be one of their most loyal customers but I honestly can't be anymore, not with how I was treated. They are so rude, all they do is scream at you and hang up on you for a mistake that they have made. I spoke with the owner who told me it wasn't his problem and hung up on me for a mistake that THEY made. I love their food but is the horrible customer service really worth it? I don't think so. I don't think they realize if they are not nice to their customers they will not have any."

"I had heard about Zorba's Taverna from a good friend , hadn't tried it till 3 weeks ago, I was disappointed they didn't have music on Friday night, server said it was for reasons of covid not too many people gather , I can definitely understand that. Waiter was super friendly and hospitable, food was amazing , I had the artichoke appetizer , yummmmm and my date the beef kabobs which he ate the last morsel . "A fresh breath of air in comparison to other Italian faire options in Lynchburg. Perhaps one of the primary reasons it was our first venture inside; we expected it to be a repeat of others and we were pleasantly surprised when we were greeted and seated though underdressed. The owner personally made sure we had seating although we had not made a reservation beforehand which embraced a quality level of attention that Lynchburg restauranteurs are known for. Immediately overwhelmed at the ambiance and of the beauty inside the strip mall trattoria, we strode through the romantically lit room to a cozy booth and were made to feel welcomed and comfortable. We both chose a dish from the specials and while they were incredible, the ribeye left us wanting. Sampling the mussels first was an excellent choice and we look forward to returning soon and choosing another appetizer, as selecting just one was tough! The server?s (David timing was impeccable and made sure the entrees arrived timely after the mussels were cleared. Our drinks were a nice twist of an old fashioned favorite, basil infused mojitos (yum! , and our pallets were happily delighted all the way through the tiramisu (imported from Italy that we enjoyed for dessert. Will keep mindful of my rating with continued visits and further sampling of the menu. Five star atmosphere and staff! Thank you for having us."

"The young woman who took my order over the phone and checked me out was very friendly. I will definitely look for her when dining in. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name. My daughter absolutely loved the chili cheese fries. She said they were the best! The chili and cheese were generously spread throughout all the fries, not just on top, and they were always fresh."

"Just good. I've eaten several times at Zorba. I never had a bad meal or something I didn't like. The service is friendly. Portions are big. Prices are reasonable. "We discovered exactly why George’s Gyros are so renowned! We devoured our gyro pita so quickly that I didn’t even have a chance to snap any photos, but it was packed with flavor and absolutely delightful. We couldn’t resist ordering the tots, which make for a fantastic appetizer or side to share. We also got their special hot dog for later, and it looks as incredible as everything else. A perfect 10/10 from us! Here’s what we ordered: Gyro (the one with peppers and jalapeños), a side of fries, steak pita, another side of fries, gyro tots, and a hot dog."
