"We are extremely disappointed! China House used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant, but since the new management took over, the food has dramatically declined in quality. It's incredibly salty, and the meat was nearly inedible. To make matters worse, their prices have skyrocketed. We ended up paying $44 for three meals, and we couldn't finish any of them. I truly hope they pay attention to the feedback. We'll genuinely miss the old restaurant and its previous owners."

"The decor reflects traditional Asian elements, presented with style—not cluttered with outdated calendars like some other places I've encountered. Now, let's talk about the service. To be fair, we did take quite a while to decide on our meals, but our server was very kind and patient. The menu is incredible, featuring several pages of options. Although it's not my personal favorite, they do offer sushi and other raw dishes as well. When our meals arrived, we were amazed at the presentation—the plates were a generous 15x15 inches and filled to the brim with an ample amount of food. Everything was hot, fresh, and of high quality. This is truly the best all-around Chinese food I’ve enjoyed in the last 10 years. The average dinner price is $17.99, which is quite reasonable. Do yourself a favor and experience what authentic Chinese cuisine is really meant to be!"

"Changed ownership...... here's some recent feedback I don't know what happened, the ownership of Kitty's kitchen just changed. Before when it first opened, it was run by Taishan people who spoke Cantonese. They made authentic food and were super friendly and kind. My favorite dish used to be the fried chicken wings and their sweet sour Thai noodles.... Upon ordering today, we realized the ownership changed after we realized they didn't speak Cantonese and didn't know which dishes we were talking about. We still ordered in hopes the recipes and food would be the same but much to our disappointment, the food is completely different : Sometimes change is good, but in this case.. I'd argue against it. The chicken was just ok in flavor and dry and the soup is bland. The rice was super oily as well..... To give perspective, the chicken is wings but the inside meat is like breast meat... We're super disappointed as this was our favorite place and was something we would always look forward to eating... we're going to end up tossing the old menu on our fridge : Hopefully they'll reach out to the old owners and ask for some of their recipes. "I'm frankly SHOCKED to see so many positive reviews (some of them recent). I LOVED them 10+ years ago but the quality of their food is so abysmal that you would be more inclined to find a tastier meal in the dumpsters outside of Fred Meyers down thestreet. I ordered the Egg Foo Young for myself. It was 95% breading, almost no filling, with the smallest amount of gravy I haveever received with this dish. It was barely enough gravey to cover each patty. Every other restaurant that I have purchased thisdish from provides ample gravy. There is no excuse for this. If they can't provide one of the main ingredients of a dish, thenmaybe they should consider shutting themselves down. The rest of the food was similarly inedible. Overall, we ended up throwingout 40+ dollars of food. NEVER AGAIN."

Possibly a decent place to order delivery as the portions and prices are manageable. "eating is excellent. if they are looking for the typical americanized, a notic, boring eating, this is not the place the aromen are rich and complex, and the selection is surprisingly diverse. my wife had people from her office near shanghai to visit and hoped after a week American kitchen after a taste of home, they were absolutely thrilled with Sichuan fortune house. the orders are family style, and the courses will come out a bit to a time. I really like that, because I can try a little bit of every cure when it is the freshest. it is somewhat more expensive per dish than the typical strip mall generic Chinese restaurant, but eating it is worth it, and I usually take enough for a few meals, so the price per serving is actually low. try the tee smoked duck and the spicy crispy beef."

"My partner and I decided to dine in for lunch instead of just getting takeout or delivery, and it was a fantastic experience. Honestly, it’s some of the best Asian cuisine in the metro area. "Ok let's start with the fact that I have been coming to this location for over 20 years. It has gone through different ownership. I have to say over the past 10 or so years the food has been great! When the head cook is there the food can't get much better and when he is not the the food is STILL great. I don't dv8 from my order to much but even if I do it's awesome! The young man behind the counter is so freaking nice u just want to leave a tip for his kindness and welcoming attitude. The girl that works there some times is also nice but she's a little more of a no nonsense kind of person but still very nice. If my BP and wallet could handle it I would eat here every damn day! B"

"I have been eating here for a while now, and literally every single time i come in i am surprised at how good the food is. How fresh and hot it is when its served. How friendly the owner is, and How every experience i have here is perfect in every sense of the word when it come to dinning out. "My husband and I always order takeout from China Paradise when we're craving good food, but we dined in on a Wednesday evening and had such a great experience. Once you walk in you notice that the restaurant is very clean and is decorated very well. It's looks upscale but still feels like home. We managed to grab a table before the rush, but dine ins really poured in behind us, so we got lucky! I'll start with the service because even my husband has a lot to say about it. The woman who was serving the dining tables (I believe she's the owner) is truly so kind. She was fun to chat with, and really helped wind down some tension after a long work day. She was ever ready to get us anything we needed and even packed our to go boxes for us when we were done, which was extra sweet. Now to the food! Sooo tasty! The owner got us started with complimentary wontons and sweet and sour sauce fried so crispy, but not too overwhelming as a small appetizer. Everything we ordered arrived very fresh. We ordered Szechuan chicken, veggie chow mein, and brown rice. This was more than enough food for just the two of us! We have plenty of leftovers. The chow mein had plenty of veggies and the garlic noodles were so good. The chicken dish was everything we expected saucy and full of flavor. The steamed broccoli and onions were delicious! We took a look around at other people's plates while we were leaving and everting looked really good. We have so many options for next time we visit! Can't wait to come back. We had a very good experience here!"

"A bunch of us went here for lunch on the way to Portland during our long trip. We ordered their lunch special from Curry Chicken and steamed rice, with hot and acid soup and crabs. I liked them all. We also ordered a chicken fried rice, I would recommend a request to them to make it a bit spicy. It was delicious and the portion size is more than a single portion. Both dishes together were a bit more than two people could eat. You also have a beautiful ambience."
