"A Taste of Burma is hands down my favorite restaurant in the DC area and possibly the entire region. I have traveled within Burma as well as eaten at many Burmese restaurants in the states (San Francisco, New York, Buffalo and Phillie). Along with her predecessor Myanmar in Falls Church (very sadly no longer open) the flavors at Taste of Burma are by far the most wonderful I have tasted here in the US at any Burmese restaurant. The salads here are made w/ vegans in mind without fish sauce but this does not compromise the flavors. I always start with the tea leaf salad, mango salad and tofu salad. The golden finger tempura is also so yummy with a wonderful sweet and zippy tamarind sauce. I would quite frankly drink vats of the mint sauce that comes with the samosas if I could.... The sour mustard tofu as well as the pumpkin curry are good together, with any of the leafy green dishes to compliment them. The flavors and textures of the veggie and vegan dishes are richer and more complex than any meat dish you'll ever have at another restaurant. But if you eat meat you will not be disappointed. I eat fish so I always order the crispy fish fillet which is my absolute favorite. If you like a more mild creamy flavor and noodles I would recommend the golden mountain noodles which my six year old son loves the chilis are served as a garnish so you can go high heat or no heat depending on your preference. My recommendation would be to bring a big group of friends and family and order as many variety of things as you can and share."

"I would like to say that I enjoyed the express to this day. we were the first customers when they opened their doors. then she sold it and said we would give the new owner an attempt to eat until this point, and the portions were great. I put my order my food came we are open crates and to my surprise our portions were apparently cut in half and barely enough to feed a person. then I fell into a chicken wing and it was so anointed at this point that I had it and made a call to fens. I asked the girl about the portion sizes and explained that my chicken wings were so salty that she told me that I ordered the wrong wings, I ordered oyster seed wings and apparently I would have ordered sticky wings that I did not have a deviation. the girl said, "I order her the next time that I should ask for sticky wings," she did not suggest to replace her at all. So I paid for wings that were unbeatable. then I asked again about the portion size that she raised for a moment in which I asked her if my eating went her answer was all went up, the menu states can be changed without notice. at this point I had it! So I said okay and hang up. I will never order from fens express that they have done nothing to correct my thinking. So if they order from them, they should change their minds as they blow their money and still be hungry! fens im so dissapointed! and will publish this on all their review pages!"

"I just had an incredibly disappointing experience with Top Spice, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their abysmal customer service. From the dry, flavorless pork to the complete lack of effort in rectifying their mistake, it was an evening of frustration and disappointment.Firstly, the pork dish I ordered was beyond disappointing. It was so dry and tasteless that I could hardly distinguish it from chicken. The lack of flavor was truly disheartening, leaving me questioning the quality of their ingredients and the competence of their kitchen staff.Hoping to find a solution and some form of compensation for the unpleasant food take-out experience, I decided to reach out to Top Spice via phone. Unfortunately, my interaction with their representative only added to my frustration. The person on the phone displayed zero willingness to go out of their way to make up for the error. Their dismissive attitude and lack of empathy were deeply off-putting.What bothered me even more was the fact that there was not even an attempt made to help fix the issue this very night. I understand that mistakes happen, but a reputable establishment should be proactive in finding a resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. It was disheartening to encounter such indifference and a complete lack of effort on their part.As a customer, I believe that it is not only fair but essential for businesses to take responsibility for their mistakes and make sincere efforts to rectify them. Sadly, Top Spice failed miserably in this regard. Their customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, overshadowing any redeeming qualities they may have had.I highly discourage anyone from dining at Top Spice, especially if you value good customer service and quality food. The dry and tasteless pork coupled with the lack of effort to address the issue has left me deeply disappointed. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that offer better food and genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction. In conclusion, Top Spice's poor customer service and the lack of effort to rectify their mistakes make it a place I cannot recommend. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by choosing an alternative dining option that values its customers' experiences and strives for excellence."

"The following review reflects my takeout experience DURING the COVID 19 pandemic. Oh, I've passed by this corner spot many times but never ventured in before COVID 19. Funny how the pandemic has completely altered my takeout choices within a certain perimeter of my home based on how many FitBit steps I need on a particular day. If I'm behind in the late afternoon, I usually get more ambitious with my circular walking routes, and if I'm traversing Nob Hill, I must be making up for lost steps. That's my only explanation for making an order at Thai Thai when there are a multitude of Thai and other Southeast Asian spots closer to me. I ordered two items here. First up were the $10 Fresh Spring Rolls which looked handmade with plenty of tofu, cucumber, carrot, and bean sprouts stuffed into the rice wrapper and more than enough peanut sauce (photo: [hidden link] . The fresh crunch was what I needed when I got home. The $14 Healthy Clay Pot Dinner Special was definitely tasty though how healthy it was could be a point of contention. I wished they offered a no rice option but I decided to indulge myself with the brown rice. Mixed with it were fried tofu, cashew nuts, sweet corn, snow peas, bits of carrot, taro strips, red beans, spinach, and raisins all cooked in sesame oil (photo: [hidden link] . Probably more calories than I bargained for, but I deserve some reward for wearing a face mask all day, right? FOOD 4 stars...good traditional Thai food that satisfies AMBIANCE n/a...looked nice enough but I was in and out pretty quick SERVICE 4 stars...it was all ready and nicely packed for my long walk home TOTAL 4 stars...Thai Thai is good good RELATED Lost on Nob Hill? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: [hidden link]"
