"After a busy day exploring DC and visiting monuments, we worked up a big appetite and decided to try a local ramen bowl. Due to an anime convention in the area, all the ramen restaurants nearby were crowded with cosplayers. We ended up at Absolute Noodle and Sushi Bar and found all the seating filled except for the bar, where we sat. The staff was attentive, keeping our water and tea glasses full. We all ordered the ramen, despite being told there would be a 40-minute wait due to the crowd, our food arrived in half that time. The ramen broth was simple compared to other places but still tasty. The pork was tender and there were added seafood and spiced bamboo shoots. The noodles were also good. Overall, a great spot worth visiting. We were happy we chose to stop by."
