"I have went to the Village Pub many times (both the Logan and Sewell location and today was my worst experience ever. To start it off, we walked in and asked for a high-top and get told by both hostesses there?s none available. (There were 4 high tops visibly available, but whatever we?ll take a table. We get seated and eventually our server came over. We had enough time before she came over to already figure out both our food and drinks so told her we were ready to order everything (which was 2 of the tequila red/white/blue drink special and 2 orders of the snow crab legs with crab fries . We patiently waited for our drinks eventually saw them in view waiting at the bar. It felt so long I questioned on if I should just get them myself. Next thing you know, dinner comes out BEFORE we got our FIRST drink. Completely unacceptable. The goal was to order a drink before dinner and then order a beer with the crabs but we got dinner first, so that was no longer an option. After the server finally dropped the drinks, we asked for a bowl to put the crab legs in but she was MIA after the drinks were brought. We started eating the crabs and I was not satisfied since they were DRENCHED in butter. Personally I never used butter to dip crab or mix in with crabs, only old bay? however it seemed like our server just guessed/assumed we wanted them drenched in butter. We were never asked how we wanted them cooked and I assumed they would naturally come out in old bay or dry. I desperately wanted to ask the server if this is how they always come but the server did not come back to the table for at least 15-20 minutes. Overall, if your going to charge $40 for snow crab legs? at least ask your guest how they want them prepared/seasoned Also, for great customer service, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar!"
